Almost never eat the things which require syrup. However, when we recently made a couple varieties of pancakes to use up ingredients, we wound up using Karo syrup.

even though I'm canadian, I don't really like maple. as far as I recall my favorite is butter flavored table syrup.

I've had this huckleberry syrup before. it was amazing. made with real hucks and the added sugar content was low. probably the best syrup I've ever had in my life.

If I'm getting something from a bottle, usually maple. The last time I had pancakes, though, they were pumpkin ones, and instead of using maple syrup, I sauteed up some apples in butter and brown sugar with cinnamon, nutmeg, ground cloves, and a splash of brandy, and used that sauce as syrup (along with the apples themselves). That was some good ****.

I've tried "real" maple syrup before. Hated it (but I was a kid back then). Went back to the fake stuff.

Real maple syrup is great, but too expensive to justify buying it just to drizzle on french toast.

I actually wanna say that I don't use syrup often. Whenever I eat pancakes, which isn't often, I use peanut butter
