I'm pretty good at them. Wouldn't say the life of the party but I can talk to anyone and have a decent sense of humor. Holding your booze, knowing a few jokes and being able to work a room are pretty easy to do.
I'll also say I'm pretty shy. None of this came natural, I just forced myself to do it to try and grow.
I watched my uncle do it and tried. The first time I was able to go through like 20 people, call in other people and make introductions and excuse myself was one of the proudest moments of my life because it was learned and praxticed and completely against my nature.
