I only included Zelda games that are generally viewed more negative light. So if you think that even though Wind Waker is popular, it deserves to be even MORE popular, this isn't the thread for that.

Eh, I'm going with Spirit Tracks. I see it lumped with Phantom Hourglass as being a terrible game (probably due to the controls) but it's a WAY better game than PH. Some people don't even give it a chance because they hated PH so much.

Would've gone with Skyward Sword but some of the things the game is hated for is deserved. Nowhere near "worst Zelda ever" though.

I voted Phantom Hourglass. I hated it at first, but it grew on me and was the most fun I've had playing Zelda in a long, long time. Plus there are literally no other games like it (aside from the sequel), so it's underrated for that too.

Sad that nobody voted for FSA. It's an incredible game even single player, and truly phenomenal if you manage 4. The only drawback is that there's little threat of game overs after you get oh so many faries

Zelda 2 usually gets overlooked purely because it's so radically different. And it really doesn't fit in with most of the rest of the series.

But it's loads of fun. There's a fan-game, Legend of Princess, that uses the same type of side-scrolling formula that inadvertently shows how badass a modern "Zelda 2" style game could be. I'd love a spin-off series like it.

Voted minish cap because it is constantly overshadowed by all the other top-down Zeldas. I think it and ALttP are the best of the top-downs.
move all remaining groundhog mercenaries to the front lines. Have sheep troopers squadrons A and B flank the cows. They're using DC-17 hoof blasters.

I loved FSA but it never gets any attention. Also i always liked the DS games, but everyone hates them cause of touch controls. But fuck the flute in ST. Terrible minigame.

Twilight Princess is overall considered at least good or average but that is way less than it should be. It's one of the greatest games I've ever played.

Onox had a cool design, but he only appeared at the very opening and the very ending and just seemed like a generic threat. Vegan at least got involved throughout the story, but Onox we see like... twice.

To me, Skyward Sword. I know people had trouble with the controls, but for those of us that didn't the combat was incredibly engaging and I miss that.

Nope, neither.

Might have exaggerated a bit, but really, for every one person praising TP there's like three or four haters. And arguing with those people who recycle the same old arguments every time to bash the game isn't worth my time.

Ehh, I felt the combat was at times unnatural and almost like a cheap, repetitive puzzle.

But that wasn't my biggest complaint. I hated how incredibly short and easy the dungeons were, the reuse of dungeon themes (did we really need two fire dungeons, two sand/robot dungeons and a recap dungeon at the end? ) and just the overall lack of thematic variety, the fetch quests, and just how unengaging and emotionally disconnected the atmosphere was compared to the previous.

No. I'm well aware of the haters of Twilight Princess. Many people hate the wolf segments, and complaining about the empty over world is common.

But that's completely overshadowed by the fans. It is the most popular Zelda game to generation Z by a wide margin, dominating in polls on all the popular zelda Facebook pages. Even people that like other games better say it has the best dungeons.

11 years ago when it came out you would see more haters among older fans on the boards here, but there are so many that grew up with it now. You're acting like MM fanboys that still think it's unpopular since their friends in first grade liked oot more
