Would you rather live in the USA or Iceland

This a series I thought would be fun. You have a choice to live the US or a different country, and must pick. Ignore financial limitations of immigration. Obviously literal hell hole third world countries won't be included because that answer is obvious. Feel free to nominate other countries you want to see next.

Iceland:
+ One of the highest standards of living in the world, even in Europe
+ Is ranked 1st in the global peace index, with crime rates and poverty being extraordinarily low
+ One of the most beautiful places on the planet
+ Some of the purest drinking water
- Is overall expensive, food and drink in particular
- Is quite isolated and far away from the rest of world
- Weather is quite unpredictable
Other info:
Icelandic is the official language and would be best to learn if you wish to live there.
Iceland is not a member of the EU
Iceland does not have a military

Pick your pick CE!

Would not live there because I would be culturally isolated. I'm sure it's nice to live there if you were actually Icelandic though.

I love living in the most relevant country on the planet, so no. I'm also not white, so I wouldn't fit in in Iceland
Iceland is cool, but it's very isolated and I'm guessing they don't speak English
Shenmue II = best game of all time
Shenmue = 2nd best game of all time
there are certainly worse places to live, and if I had to live there I wouldn't be that upset, but my job and future looks much better in the US than Iceland
Only thing I know about Iceland is Gunner Stahl and that it's very green.

USA easily.

Around 94% of the residents in Iceland are ethnically Icelandic last time I checked, they are a very homogenous country. Your point makes a lot of sense, Iceland has some of highest life satisfaction rates and standards of living but also some of the lowest immigration in the western world.

The USA
I always wanted to go to Iceland, much more pretty outdoors, interesting culture, and everyone already speaks english so it would be easy to get around.
