Conservative Texas Assistant Principal has LOST his job after he wrote a children's book whose central character is also a white supremacist symbol, PEPE THE FROG!!

Eric Hauser was given the Heave Ho at Rodriguez Middle School in Little Elm after the news of his book The Adventures of Pepe and Pede appeared on social media.

The protagonist, Pepe the frog appeared more than a decade ago in an online cartoon but since been adopted by the alt-right movement associated with white nationalism and was appropriated by Trump Supporters

The Denton School District said that his book became a "distraction" and is now being reassigned elsewhere as he will not be working as a campus admin or educator

The self-published book tells the story of a frog and centipede seeking "trut and honesty" against "deceitful forces" as the main characters are protecting their farm from an evil, bearded alligator named Alkah

He said his book is not a white supremacist text and said "I'm not concerned with using those characters because there is nothing wrong with those characters. They're not bad characters. I disagree with the alt-right or white supremacist label. I think that label was put on Pepe in an attempt to silence conservatives. They put that label on Pepe in an attempt to silence them when that's not what pepe was about"

He doesn't deny that the book is to teach the evils of "liberalism" but denies it has any racist tendencies

He apologized for the negative attention and said it was best not to serve as assistant principal.

That's nice and all, but he knew what would happen when he brought his political beliefs into his work and did it anyway so he has to take some responsibility.

Even the ADL says Pepe isn't a hate symbol unless it's being used to express hate. If Pepe is just a character in a harmless kids book, this is idiotic.

But yeah this guy has no case here. Especially because he could have probably avoided all of these situations by changing a couple names of his characters.
