Donald Trump insisted Wednesday that he has sent "no mixed signal" about his desire for the DACA program to survive past March 2018 and expects Congress to make a "permenant fix"

However, he hinted that he will make DACA permanent and allow the illegals to stay IF democrats and republicans FUND HIS WALL!!

DACA, an Obama-era program that shielded against deportation for nearly a million people brought here illegally as children is on the ropes as Trump seems to be playing with their lives in exchange to have his wall built.

He said "I'd like to see something where we have good border security, and we have a great DACA transaction where everybody is happy and now they don't have to worry about it anymore. I'd like to see a permanent deal and i think it's going to happen"

Congress has 6 months to write into law on the millions of Dreamers as Trump deflected a question about providing a pathway to citizenship for the so called "DREAMers" stating he's focused first on finding a way for them to maintain "legal" status. He stated that he will REVISIT DACA if Congress falls short of a deal.

Trump is attempting to use his business like acumen to make Democrats a deal to fund his wall in exchange for keeping these DREAMers in the country..but only time will tell before the deadline if they will do so.

This is called compromise. A good deal for both sides, and ensures, that going forward, things are more strict with regards to illegal aliens.

It's the right move. We can't justify kicking out people at this current moment, but we can do better going forward as we move into the future.
