So far no details have been released about the cause of his death, but he was 47 when he died.

Edit: he voiced the ocean dub Goku. I forgot to clarify.

I don't think he was in Yashahime(Inuyasha sequel) so probably not a sudden death.

Yeah, he's not the main Goku actor everyone would think about. But he's def the one and only Miroku.

He was also Cyclops from X-Men Evolution, and Mikami from Death Note.

Definitely a huge loss. RIP.

He was.

He came back to reprise his role, but I guess he only got 2 or 3 episodes in (however far in advance they record) before dying. He was definitely in episode 1 when I watched it a week or so ago. He sounded really off, though, so I guess he's been sick for a while.
