Howdy all. We're gonna be rolling out the beta again, with significant time being put into porting over most of the existing board features this time, this Friday. Before we do, I just wanted to do a pre-beta beta as a sanity check first. If you wanna check it out, please join here:

First thing I noticed on game boards. I can't link topics to friends without them being bombarded by the join beta screen. Is there a way to redirect topics between the beta and the current versions?
I also clicked on a topic on a game board, well the Pokemon SwSh trade board. Trade board topics are more concise and better without the clutter below the post message screen. It takes up half the page. I think that's better for the general game boards, but not the trade boards.
Edit: Clicking on the Pokemon SwSh trade board from my Favorite Games menu brings me to current design, but going to the Sword board and clicking Trade from there goes to the beta. Was that meant to be separate?
The last viewed message option is missing from the trade board. I can see it on the Sword board, but it doesn't update on the trade board whether I look at a topic or I can go to my last viewed message.

This isnt related but is it possible to get a system where you can mass PM everyone when you have important announcements? Not everyone goes to the board that has those announcements. In fact, I think Ive only been there once since Ive been on Gamefaqs.

It's better and I agree with grouping all versions of the game together since now the games won't have solit communties. However, please being back the last 4 boards you visited in the home page. I use that a lot I find it to be a bit tedius to not be able to do it. If it's impossible, I'll adapt but this is better than the previous beta.

Modern style is still ugly trash that should just be canceled and certainly isnt modern.
The other style is usable for the boards though.
Going through it, I find the new way of doing things makes it harder to use on mobile. Everything is just a bit too big and takes up too much precious screen space while the current way has things appropriately sized.
The system page with the games list is a confusing mess that goes on for way too long and popular multi platform games end up cluttering the top. I dont know if all games are valued the same, but there should be like some sort of weighting. Like exclusives are at full popularity value while multiplats have only part of their popularity counted.
Theres also no way to tell what makes a game popular. Like is it that the forums are active? Lots of views of the main page or guides?
