Alrighty, picked up Tali on that sun-scorched planet. I think I almost have all the assault rifle upgrades, too, which makes that one I picked up with 500 rounds even more fun. Shame about its Klobb-like accuracy, haha.

Interesting way to finish Zaeed's loyality mission that most people will never see:

If you do his loyality mission after the Suicide Mission and chose the paragon option, you have the option of not helping Zaeed up, walking away, and having Zaeed die in the fire he caused.
We all live in a Yellow SUV! a Yellow SUV!
Zaeed is too awesome to do that, haha.

They actually dedicated the Citadel DLC to his VA, he died shortly after finishing his part.

I remember hearing Robin Sachs died way back when, but I didn't know he voiced Zaeed. Damn.

I do find it amusing that a Shep-Zaeed-Grunt squad has EVERYONE with Concussive Shot. I upgraded it for AoE damage, so now we're ragdolling everyone. Just wish I had it upgraded properly when I went through Dantius Towers' high-rise segments -- pretty sure there's an environmental kill trophy.

I defended Tali at her trial with the one insurmountable weapon I own: yelling really loudly. In the past, I'm pretty sure I had her exiled, but I'm glad I got a peaceful resolution in the mission (oh, and hearing the sultry voice of Claudia Black, one of my faves).

Yea that trial was weird. You don't actually need any evidence to acquit.
Why do nerds always get caught up on the details?
Michael Jordan is both the greatest and most overrated basketball player of all time.
Okay, gonna help Jake with his pops and maybe recruit Kasumi after. Should also spend some of my Citadel bux, too, since I'm up to 300K or something. I don't think there are any on-ship suppliers like in ME1, so I have to haul my ass over to Ilium or something.

Apparently an incisor squadmate is decently effective. That and Miranda has the only squad passive and its a decent offensive bonus at that.

How fucking DARE you.
Rage is a hell of an anesthetic.
Yeah, I saw Miranda's boost when I did her loyalty mission. Still don't really want to use her though, lol. Maybe if I was playing on higher difficulties.

Guess I'll go do Kasumi's loyalty mission. I think that's the last one I need before I have everyone's, although I haven't gotten Legion yet and don't even remember how to. Maybe I've gotta advance the story a little more or something.

I always do that one as soon as possible because the Locust is great.

And also because Kasumi's flash bang skill is ridiculously good, especially on those collector missions where Harbinger can assume direct control.
Are we the baddies?
If I remember, the IFF mission is a point of no return (or pretty close to it), so I'm gonna do some lose ends that I've been ignoring. Not sure if I did Firewalker last time, but that'll be my next stop. Hopefully that's not the one with the mako or thunderbird or whatever that flying vehicle is called.

You can do a maximum of two story missions after it without issues.

If you have more than one mission left, I mean.

I always save it to be Legion's mission and Tali's loyalty mission because bringing Legion along for that is the dopest shit.

Yeah, I did a Legion/Tali/Shep party when I was making my FAQ and, although I don't remember it too much, that does seem like the most explosive way to do her loyalty mission.

Welp, finished Firewalker, I think. Pretty lame DLC overall -- a bunch of platforming in a vehicle that's okay to drive, but you'll never use anywhere else, 'cause all the exploration missions were stripped for ME2. Hopefully the other DLC is more...substantial.

At least we know that Thane is way cooler with slick shades. Hell, I almost want to start using him just for that. Most other people have alternate outfits with DBZ power checkers and Geordi La Forge visors. Sunglasses never go out of style, though.

Onto Project Overlord, I guess.

So the brilliant idea central to this DLC is having an autistic kid mind-meld with a geth network?

In the end, I left the autistic guy to Cerberus to continue the geth control research. I'm sure I got some renegade points for it -- it'd be nice to hit 80% if I can.

@Shotgunnova

Is your username based off the vanguard class in ME2 or does your username predate it?

Even doing an all renegade run, this one was hard to pull the trigger on. IIRC, even taking the paragon choices/interrupt has Shepard pistol whipping the scientist. My guess is that it was the only way to make people feel slightly good at the end of it. Otherwise, the whole thing just made me feel dirty.
The ball is round, the game lasts 90 minutes. That's fact.
Everything else, is theory.
Yeah, I saw that Shepard hit him somehow, but I hit square to jump ahead in the dialogue, so I didn't see how she hit him. I'd feel differently about the quest if it wasn't based on the far-fetched proposition of "the autistic guy started speaking geth out of nowhere," and even made geth-like bleeps and bloops. I know he has a penchant for mathematics, but it's still hard to believe.

I thought about playing the trilogy again when it came to playstation plus. It didn't seem worth it as I had spent a lot of time platinuming each game, and there are plenty of games I have yet to play. A lot that time was spent seeing if my crew members had anything new say.
Your words are as empty as your soul
I spent a lot of time playing these games (well, not ME3) back in the day, so I'm not going to do achievement runs or anything. In fact, I haven't even looked through the list for ME2 and am just working off memory. Could've sworn there was one for doing environmental kills, one for mixing and matching powers (Pull + Throw works, I think), etc. It's not a big deal, honestly.

Doubt my feelings will change that much about ME3, but maybe it'll go over well, now that I have the DLC to get through. I've done most of the DLC for ME2 already, other than the Shadow Broker stuff with my gal Friday (Liara). Don't remember loving it -- and I remember who the broker is -- but it'll probably be okay.

I really like Shadow Broker. The environments are beautiful with great ambience. Liara is a badass, bosses are interesting, and some upgrades to acquire.

One of my favorite dlcs of any game, only second to Citadel dlc in ME3.

Welp, just beat the Broker and am doing the post-quest stuff where you use his contacts to snoop in various ventures. Learning things about your teammates (like Miranda can't get pregnant and Jack writes cringey edgelord poetry) is fun. Not sure if I can follow up on that stuff, though.

But yeah, other than fighting five times the mount of utterly generic enemies, it was pretty enjoyable -- more enjoyable than I recall, certainly.

Now that everyone (except Legion, who I don't have) is loyal, guess it's time to get that IFF. Thought about doing some of the Shadow Broker follow-ups, but eh well. Most of it's just finding mineral-rich planets and that's not too useful, other than Eezo.

Guess I'll move on to ME3. Normally I'd go through as an imported Shepard, but the Shadow Broker DLC reminded me how much I love that Singularity skill. Maybe I'll change things up a bit this time, provided I can still use a bunch of the toys I like. [Kinda tempted to replay ME2 as MShep for this reason, haha.]

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I think Tali might've died without the suicide mission telling me. Not sure how that happened; everyone was loyal and I assigned the squad leaders properly. Hopefully Legion's metallic ass didn't mess things up.
