Here's what I think happened. Someone was talking to Trump about hosting a press conference and said they were trying to book a place a four seasons to do it (meaning the hotel). They didn't actually get it, they just mentioned it as a place they were reaching out to. Trump assumed this would be successful and then tweeted out the press conference would be at four seasons.
The hotel rejected the press conference. But by the time this happened, Trump had already tweeted out they were doing it, and they couldn't have glorious leader be wrong, so they frantically searched for another business called four seasons and paid them like some crazy amount to use the lot in front to do the press conference.
