Every piece of clothing must have unnecessary belts and zippers on it. If a clothing item without a belt and/or zipper makes it into the game the characters should be confused by it and question whether it's actually clothing.

The main antagonist is instantly recognisable as soon as they appear onscreen for the first time an is accompanied by malicious music. But the main party does not recognise it

The story starts out when the main character who lives in a humble farming village discovers the fugitive princess being chased by the imperial army and then fights off the entire imperial army by himself but the village is burned to ashes anyway somehow.

It's not actually a card game. They just port the entirety of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a Dark Lord as the minigame and you have to play it to unlock all the best weapons in the game.

The final boss' last attack is a spot the difference where you have a minute to highlight 15 subtle differences between two pictures. Fail and it's back to the unskippable cutscenes before the fight.

Saying that game has a main character is kind of a stretch. The game is basically Monster Train and has almost no story. It's also not particularly good.
