The gameplay options in the collection are pretty fantastic compared to anything we've seen before, including the Phoenix Wright and GAA collections. So that's neat.

The final case was peak up to the Amara breakdown. The focus shifting to Garan being the main villain was when it started souring since it's both so obvious and so stupid . But I don't think the final section of the main villain being meh overrides the entire case beforehand being amazing. Also I think 6-3 has one of the best non-finale 2nd days too which makes up for the 1st day being mostly a bore. 6-2 is probably the most consistently good case though.

I liked 4 more than most, not a slam dunk but pretty fun and got some very cool (if weird) moments.

5 has pretty bad writing but did give us Blackquill so I wont call it the worst.

6 was honesty disappointing for me, just didnt like most of the characters, hated the seance mechanic, and just wasnt very satisfying.

yeah Id love to have nearly the whole collection in one place, but its hard to imagine replaying Dual Destinies or Spirit of Justice being any fun.

I finally started Apollo Justice and my god the absolute shining sheen they've given these graphics is insane. The judge looks like you could polish a shoe on his forehead.

I feel like I'm going insane but this is not how the PW trilogy updated graphics looked, is it?

It's not a trilogy. Its a term made up for marketing.

I quite like the Phantom but I understand the issue people have with him. I don't see how he is worse than Garan , though. She's awful.

I started with Apollo, which was good enough to get me into the original PW trilogy and the Edgeworth one (and then eventually, the Herlock Sholmes one lol).

But going from PW back to Apollo, well, Apollo's shit. I still hate that gun case, wtf was that shark logic.

I think case 2 is worse than case 3, honestly.

Yes, the logic in case 3 is probably the worst in the series and watching the video over and over again is annoying. But I like a lot of the characters. I like the scenario of the murder taking place at a concert. I like the ridiculousness of the Gavinners.

Case 2 is so fucking boring. The characters are all awful (Trucy's alright), the mystery is stupid and not entertaining and every time the defendant talks its like nails on a chalkboard. Never mind the fucking panty sniffer thing that is spent way too much time on.

I'd take the the obnoxious case solving of the third case over that shit any day.
