I liked the Tactics Advance games.

I dont see them making a new FFT without at least remastering the original.

The hate for FFTA really does feel out of place. FFT is my 2nd most favorite game of all time, and while I admit that the FFTA games didn't reach near its peak, I still enjoyed them a good deal.

Sure, they aren't as good as the original, but they aren't bad games at all.

ffta games suck. they're not low budget trash but their stories are worthless and their gameplay is more annoying than fun. destroys the entire point of the original fft.

And I disagree. I think the different classes being available to different races (as opposed to everyone is human and everyone can do and be everything) makes their gameplay more interesting and varied all by itself.

Story, sure, but I read books, so video game stores are basically always shit in comparison, so I dont really care about it much.

He specified wanting the people who did the original FFT and FF12 and those who enjoyed those games to work on a new one.

TBH I kinda feel like we could use another rerelease of FFT that adds a "play as Delita" mode. And gives you access to a different job set. You'll get Delita and Ovelia as permanent uniques. Maybe some others.

Add: Ark Knight (Zalbaag)

Add: Fell Knight

Also the hate for FFTA has always been ridiculous. The games were way more fun to play. The Law system also doesn't really matter because once you actually start getting going you get so many law cards that you can basically ignore it if you want to and there's law free zones you can do grinding in.

Kind of a nothing article, but sure. I'd love to get a new Tactics game. Even if they do one styled after Advance, I feel like they wouldn't hit the same pitfalls at this point that hurt those games (child cast, law system restrictions).

Just don't go for the "action" push that they're doing with all their bigger titles and try to RTS it like they did with DioField.
