I've worked at cellular providers, tech companies, and in corporate IT support for years each - and there's ZERO reason to ever go Apple, unless you're just a fully Apple person that doesn't use anything else - which means that you're also probably very wealthy and not tech savvy. If you've worked for those type of companies, you should know corporate loves iPhones because it's cheap (SE series), reliable, and can easily be locked down vs. any other phone. Unless you mean personal phones...

Samsung will last over years, but they load their s*** with so much bloatware that it's insaneNope, the Samsung apps are often better than the Google counterparts and those Samsung apps are the closest thing Android has to the Apple ecosystem.

If you buy into the Samsung ecosystem and get their devices you will see that they all play nicely together. It's Apple-like without the stupid.

I've generally avoided Samsung, as someone who has been in the industry, exactly because this hasn't been true, from what I've seen. Samsung often has perfectly suitable hardware, but their software has been incredibly problematic over the years. What was the device you used and when was it? I'm typing this on a 2018 Tab S4 that I've used for everything from signing documents to remote VPN work. Your workflows may be different from mine but my devices have never let me down for what I need them to do.
Samsung literally turns off things like push notifications for non-official apps, without telling you, in order to preserve their constantly running tracking apps, when your battery life gets below like, 75%. Samsung is horrible for bloatware. I'm not talking about how their apps actually run, I'm talking about the s*** you don't even know is runningWell if the apps run well and they don't get in the way of what I want the device to do then why should I care? If you don't like the Samsung apps then delete and/or disable them. Am I able to delete or disable all of Apple's first party apps on an iPhone? No one calls that bloatware but that's what it is.

All my computing devices and home appliances all sync pretty well together. Failures are few and far between and not enough to really matter. Your miles may very but I think Samsung as a company has come a long way from even 5-10 years ago.
I prefer Pixel phones because spending $1000+ on a phone really means you're a sucker.
I've had a Pixel 7 for about a year and a half now and it's been incredible. Best phone I've ever had by far.
The Google Pixel 8 costs $1099.
EDIT: Sorry, I'm wrong. The unlocked version costs that much. My bad.
Devices from the Galaxy S (S1, from 2010), well through the Galaxy Note 7 (2016), and beyond, though with less personal experience, as I was no longer in the industry - so it was all personal experience and what I kept up w/ online. As I figured - you haven't reliably used anything from them in almost a decade so you being "in the industry" is meaningless if your frame of reference is from 10 years ago.
Pixel 8 pro with 1tb storage was close to $1200 :']
but what's a new 1tb iphone cost? cuz that's what matters herehttps://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/2/28c0915d.png

https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/2/28c0915d.png1 terabyte squared?!
JFC iPhones are expensive.
1 terabyte squared?!Look, I don't make Apple's website. I just make crappy screen grabs from it.
1 terabyte squared?!Because it's a tebibyte and they also reserve some of the total for system apps and the OS
1 terabyte squared?!
I'm sure the 2 there referred to some "small text" agreement bullshit, like - you have to agree to a 2 year contract, etc...And here I was thinking Apple had invented a new dimension of storage!

Pixel 10 is still like, nearly 2 years away? I dunno how much we could even possibly know about those at this point.Which is why it's still crazy to me that Sony is still around in the phone game lol. Like are they really that big in Japan that it's keeping them afloat or something?
Sony hasn't had a noticeable presence in the Western market in like a decade.
Like are they really that big in Japan that it's keeping them afloat or something? They are bigger in Japan than elsewhere, but are definitely not what someone would consider near as large as something like Apple or Sharp.
