I haven't been to a barber since I was a kid. I either just buzz my hair myself in the bathroom or if I want an actual haircut one of my friends does it when I'm over having beers.

Free, cuz I do it myself

If she said we partied, then I'm pretty sure we partied. I really don't remember. I remember we departed from our bodies.

$40+ without tip, which is why I don't get haircuts often.
Don't be afraid to be disagreeable, but also don't use that as an excuse to say stupid stuff.
Damn supersets is 27 now? The last time i was there it was 12. But I got to a barber now because the supersets people are not really that skilled imo.

35 bucks plus tip. I usually give them 15.

I haven't gone in a couple years but I go to a small local barber and she charges around $12 for a standard haircut. I always just give her $20.

My baseline haircuts are something like $60, but I only get my hair cut every eight weeks. I go to a salon and I stayed with my stylist while she rose up the ranks, so unfortunately long-time customers still have to pay the increased price
I am seeing a ton of expensive haircuts.

Just call me Discount Dan.
The nice Chinese ladies at a salon within walking distance only charge $18 somehow. I always tip $10 extra

Average barber shop around here is about $30 NZD. So that's about $18USD (including sales tax, and tipping isn't a thing)
Keep it green.
The best barber I've ever used was in an old house in the historic district of a smallish town.

Haircuts are awkward for me, because of the part where they ask you what you wanna do. I dunno... shorter?

So when I wandered into this place, and the guy asks me, and I go "uh..."

and the guy says "Just a regular men's haircut?"

BAM. I was a fan of this dude for LIFE.

I apologized to him, because I always feel like I have to for not knowing hair lingo, by saying "if there's a book of hairstyles, I never read it."

"I didn't either," he answered.

I gotta admit, that made me a little nervous, but my hair was absolutely PERFECT. Best haircut I've gotten in my life.

He charged me twelve, which, what the hell. I mean, it was a long time ago and all, but not THAT long ago, so I told him to make it fifteen (hey, it's a 25% tip) and left.

How I wish I could go back and tip the guy a hundred, because next time I needed a haircut, he had vanished without a trace and the new lady was just like all the other barbers who expect you to know shit and answer questions and still don't do a great job.

Sometimes I wonder if I pulled a John Nash on myself and there never was a barbershop there before the normie chick. Maybe I cut my own hair in a schizophrenic daze.

Theyre free where I live but I dont know what they cost at the local shops though.

Joking aside Ive been cutting my own hair since Covid temporarily closed down the shops. Once I discovered I could do it myself I never went back to paying.

Nothing, since my mother knows how to give haircuts (she was going to be a hair stylist when she was younger but changed her mind). I would probably just go to Great Clips otherwise, think those are about $20 or so.
I hate conversations with hair dressers so I just shave it twice a year at home.
I'm an artist at what I do. I fuel the fire, watch it burn, and laugh all the while.
What ever it costs me to run clippers every other week, followed by a razor.

It obviously depends on where you go. There is a great place within walking distance to my house that is around $30 pre-tip. I could spend less elsewhere, but I like that place and they do good work.

This. She's been doing it longer than I've been alive. Her father did it before her.
