Kanye hasn't made a good album since 808s & Heartbreak
I wouldn't go that far, but I will say that My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy has not held up as a "masterpiece". I listened again recently and thought a lot of it was pretty midHot take: Ive always liked Life of Pablo more than MBDTF

Most male pop singers are singing too high.
Disagree on both countsThere are RS albums I like, but even their best albums contain a lot of chaff (of the ones you named, Exile is the guiltiest). I'll put on Sticky Fingers and I'm inevitably drawn to skip around for my favorites.
Let It Bleed and Sticky Fingers rule, as do Exile on Main St and Goat Heads Soup.
Presence is too meh to be great.

Zeppelin's albums contain comparatively little chaff, imo. I'll put on Presence (probably the album of theirs that comes to mind least often) and I'm good - it can just play and no song beckons me to hit "next."
RS: mediocre-to-good albums, handful of great songs

That album got insane amounts of hype at the time that it didn't deserve. The music is very basic, Julian's voice isn't great, and the songs aren't particularly catchy. "Last Night" was the most popular single because its one of the few good songs on that recordGuitar-based music was in a really, really shitty place at the turn of the century, so people jumped on The Strokes and The White Stripes and proclaimed them saviours of rock.
I was going to counter with the hate on country, but the tone is consistently different in how people express disdain for one genre vs the other.
