Its okay because under Trump it would be worse. It's not okay, and yes, it would be worse.
It's not okay, and yes, it would be worse.
Its okay because under Trump it would be worse. You hate trans people. Shut the fuck up.
I'm tired of this stance. Then quit bringing it up, nobody is saying that.
"It's not okay, but it's still happening anyway and we can't stop it"

Hello mr nobodyIf that's the point you drew from my post, I suggest Hooked on Phonics.
Then quit bringing it up, nobody is saying that."It can be stopped and isn't." is supposed to be better?
Why are cops shutting down these protests? Is there some law they are allegedly breaking?

we are discussing this at my university now how its a crack down on a first amendment right
"It can be stopped and isn't." is supposed to be better? We can keep the shitty status quo and attempt to fix the country, or we can burn it all down and let tens of millions of innocent Americans be FUCKING MURDERED by official government decree.
Supporting Palestinian is taboo in the US.
Since when do cops need a reason to beat people up and arrest them?
Cops continue to show who they protect, and it ain't us.well yeah they definitely aren't pro-palestine considering who trains a lot of police in America (it's Israel. Israel trains american cops for some reason)
Arresting press like that is pretty clear and cut 1st amendment violation. With speech there's various bullshit like obscenity, sedition, threats, abuse, and other things that can cancel out your right to free speech but there's no such restrictions with press. They can pretty much do anything as long as they aren't trespassing.100%...... I'm Jewish but people have the right to protest the involvement in Gaza as long as there is no violence. They have the right to do it. If we have them arrested, who are we? are we no better than those we are fighting? Where does it go from here, whats next?

https://twitter.com/angorellanah/status/1783290253165600969Ah, that's what was happening yesterday. I saw a ton of news helicopters hovering over the USC area yesterday evening, but I forgot to look up what it was after I stopped driving.
I've been emphasizing this to so many people, but they refuse to listenMy Hillel doesn't even see it they're so blind. I turned my back on them completely and left the organization
It's not really insaneSo... Excessive police response is okay because... The protestors will get sick???
I'm on the side of the protesters but it's normal for this kind of thing to happen.
Since Hong Kong, COVID has been a huge deterrent for these kinds of protests. The same people yelling and holding up signs in large groups will be sniffling and feverish in the next few days. They then either stop protesting or spread their sickness to other like-minded people. Happened during the George Floyd protests and that was pre-vaccine.

Has there ever been a single time in US history where the police were on the right side against anti-war student protesters? The enacting of the Civil Rights Act, protection of Anti war protests in Vietnam and Iraq, Brown vs. the Board of Education
