What's the over/under on him holding a rally and/or going golfing on that day?
The defense probably sees a chance to sow doubt with Cohen.Prosecution will let them try. Then they point out Trump hired him and that this has all been proven in a court case.
Merchan orders Trump to take down all Truth posts that violate the gag order
So stupid. 9k? I mean, I didnt expect much else but put his ass in jail ffs.
https://twitter.com/kyledcheney/status/1785306056756761083Dew it.

What's the over/under on how long it will take Trump to violate the gag order again?
iirc the max fine by law is only 1k per offense

A $9,000 fine will surely teach the recalcitrant billionaire not to do it again.

Take that up with the legislature. His hands are tied when it comes to fines and putting him in jail is tricky because 45 is trying to to martyr himself. Though this could be solved if his smart phone was taken away for the duration of the trial and he was given a dumb phone. If the legislature were to pass a new law updating the upper limit of a fine, could that take effect during this trial, or would he be grandfathered in to the current law's limits because that was the state of things at the start of the trial? If there was a mistrial, would a new law apply to a new trial?
Him falling asleep every day can't be a good look for the jury.

unless some of them see it like "aw look at this poor old man they're just bullying him, poor guy can't even get enough sleep"

No, no and it would be ridiculously unconstitutional to pass a law for one billionaire.Seems like capping it is the opposite of reform
The law is the way it is by design because New York cares about bail and sentence reform.
He surrendered. Again.
Remember all those reports from White House insiders about Trump showing up to work at 11:00 am and bailing at 4:00 pm? Having to be in court at 9:00 in the morning and having to stay into well in the afternoon has to be torture for him. Hopefully it's just a prelude to the schedule he'll be forced to keep as an inmate.
No, no and it would be ridiculously unconstitutional to pass a law for one billionaire. What would be unconstitutional about updating a law when there are limits or loopholes that can be potentially exploited by bad faith actors?

What is he doing here?
