Yea. I thought the whole point of raising the user karma limit on CE was to prevent new accounts from coming in. So it was odd admin waived that to let someone under that limit in. Unless they changed the karma limit recently when board went private.
Which again leads to the question of "why not just un-ban the original account if you believed them?"

I remember the mods celebrating CE being closed off because they didnt have to deal with tails crew anymore. Reality is they will probably be one of the last remaining because they are the only ones who care enough to constantly pursue every avenue to get back in here.

People said Ace Mos and some others were locked out for that reason, they're clearly back now. He just made a mistake in this case of trusting a guy who said he got banned for being someone he wasn't. From his perspective it probably looks like he's damned if he does, damned if he doesn't in terms of trying to help people get back in if they feel unfairly blocked out by bending the rule a bit.
It's not like the guy owns Fandom or something, he can't dictate their policy.
