I know some Nintendo-friendly streamers avoid promoting and playing Palword to avoid irritating Nintendo.

I think thats the extent Nintendo did anything against Palworld

Yeah, the only people that cared if the game remained popular were the people online with a weird attachment to the game either maintaining or losing players. The devs got their bag so they likely don't give a shit lol

I bought it, had a lot of fun with it for awhile. Might go back every now and then so I got what I wanted out of it

It was okay. Pretty under-baked in a way that I don't think "more content" will resolve. Probably won't play it again for a good long while if ever.

It sold more than their previous trash game so I'm sure the devs are happy but yeah it was never anything more than a cashgrab. People expecting a polished well thought game weren't paying attention to Craftopia

Granted it's a fraction of what they had since day 1, but that's almost any game ever made ever. There's still plenty of people playing the game and it is still in early access. The game is still going strong, no need to lie about it.

to the people saying the game is over, its not. Its still in beta basically. They hired more people and are adding new stuff to it. The final release hasn't happened yet, and they say there will be a bunch of updates. I fully expect a new Palworld craze to happen eventually.

Same. I love that the update showed they're actually listening to their community on how to improve the game as that isn't always the case with early access games. But I'm going to need at least one robust content drop before I play it again.
