I dont really wanna grow that muchLose the mindset. You're not going to accidentally get too muscular so that shouldn't be a concern tbh.
Is this satire?
You already have it buddy just pick up shit and put it back down
and never, ever forget to eat CARRRNE_ASADA
I dont really wanna grow that much and Im scared of all those protein shakes and potential damage to kidneys.
Iirc, she admitted to being on gear for a bit just to see what it was like, but I don't think it was very long (admittedly, I don't actually know how long it was). Which I find annoying. Like, I'm a lifetime natty (although I've only been bodybuilding for like 2.5 years, so it doesn't mean much), but I would be fine calling someone natty if all the effects and gains of them using gear has gone away.
Honestly, I've seen so many vids of her as well as people talking about her that I could totally be wrong. I remember a vid where she said she was on gear for a short cycle, but I might be misremembering
I'm not sure why Planet Fitness is so against it.Their business model relies on a large number of new, unconfident people, with no real plan, and ensuring they stay that way. They think that that if someone less experienced sees some jacked dude doing deadlifts, it will make them feel inadequate and cancel their membership. In reality, at least from my own personal experience, when I see a jacked dude doing shit like that it makes me think "I'm gonna do that shit one day."

Hopefully you never have to cancel your membership cause they make it a fucking pain in the ass to do soI wonder if its different in different places. All I had to do was show up and sign a paper. Unless they're on a contract plan now which wasn't the case before.
I haven't heard about pizza night at the one near my apartment. The PF at my apartment is like any other gym - they have dumbbells which go up to like 75 lbs (which is enough for the majority of people), they have smith machines, and machines for virtually every body part. They have treadmills, ellipticals, stairmasters, and stationary bikes. I'm not going to say it's an A+++ gym but it's got everything that a typical person needs to stay in shape - yes, it's lacking barbells and squat racks, but they've got everything else.
^^
This is the type of tool who makes gyms unfun.

veins popping... Roids.Pretty sure Sean there is natural. He's had progressive photos/videos over the years and if he's on steroids, then his progress would be horrifically slow and in line with natural lifters. Dude had an incredibly slow climb to his current physique. No one on steroids goes that slow
Just try not to set off the lunk alarm.Speaking of which, is this real?
TC are you truly 5'10...?
First off, you don't make weight gains in the gym. You do that in the kitchen. Since you are a beginner. You should avoid using all supplements and powders at the start. Instead, you need to eat your calories. If you can, aim to increase your calories from current with a bit more. If you aren't allergic to seeds or nuts. A good combination is almonds and sunflower seeds. Eat this snack after every workout and drink plenty of water.
Since you joined planet fitness, you will have access to machines. To start, do full body exercises that focus on big muscle groups. As a guide, work on big muscles to small muscles. Muscles around joint are considered small but they determine the weight you can carry.
When looking up routines, you need to consider exercises in these four categories. Push, pull, carry and lift. Some exercises work on multiple categories.
The sets of exercises in the beginning are not as important as one might think. Don't worry if you don't complete them in the beginning. It's okay to not finish a set. My rule of thumb is if you lose technique. Quit the set. In the beginning your focus is on technique and breathing. You want to do each workout that has you focus on a 5 second breathe. 1 2 hold on 3 4 5 repeat rep. If you can do the reps comfortably within 90 secs. Increase the weight. Repeat when you get to 90 secs again. Alternatively, do 5 by 5 or 3 sets of 8 on alternating days.
The above are guidelines any athlete can use because at the end of the day. It doesn't matter what you do. If you aren't consistent. It won't work. You need to remember that this is a life style. Not a fad diet.
Let me know if you need more.
Edit:I will fix my grammar later.
TC are you truly 5'10...
tell me you know nothing about gyms without telling me you know nothing about gyms.
That's Sean Nalewanyj. He's like one of the nicest and most understanding fitness influencers lol.
Not a bad gym for the price you pay.
Appreciate the detailed explanation.No problem.
huh? It's not like I'm saying I'm 6'4. TBH I used to be 170 ish, but had high BP, prediabetes and some other health stuff going on so I had to modify my lifestyle habits and ended up losing TOO much weight for some reason. Some of my confidence dropped with the weight as well so thats also part of the reason to hit the gym.
No problem.
Also I'm lean at 5'10 and weigh 180 lbs. Most people would see me and think I'm skinny with a fast metabolism. They don't realize that I'm more about strength than look of muscle. Fitness goals are personal choices. As well as how we look. Everyone varies based on genetics.
Yet he comes off as an absolute tooin that video.
