I think the last thing I bought from gamestop was Unicorn Overlord because nobody else carried it in physical. I won't be changing that anytime soon.
Time is a funny thing, you know? I guess in the big picture of my life, you were only a blip. But oftentimes, those "blips" make the biggest impacts.

If it makes you feel better, the CEO of wherever else you would've bought it instead likely sucks just as bad; they just would rather you didn't know they do and so they try to hide it. Except maybe if you just buy it directly from Nintendo? Not even sure who their CEO is these days tbh, I don't really keep up with Nintendo/etc news that doesn't directly relate to new devices.

Gamestop has always sucked, but at its peak for me when physical media was king, it was at least appealing to browse the huge library of PS2, Xbox, and GC games, occasionally getting suckered into buying one if I had the energy to turn down their sales pitches and insist on getting a sealed, not "Like New", copy.

Now their game selection is smaller and the shop is filled with the same geek merch that Hot Topic sells.

I haven't bought from Gamestop in years. I check every once in a while when I'm hunting for older games to see if they have it hidden somewhere, but they've gone so far from being a game store, they really don't anymore.

Ugh, I live in a small town so it's buy it at Amazon, Walmart or GameStop. I'd always picked GameStop so it stayed around. Now I don't know what to do, I should've known.
