Whatever you buy, you have to remember that it's stuck in time for the next 7 or so years. The ps6 is coming well before that and looks like it'll be a fairly crazy console with dedicated AI silicon.

I thought my son would really want one, but he surprised me and says he is content with his regular Switch for now. So, we did not pre-order. I am sure we will get one eventually.

Both of us were pretty lukewarm on the reveal, TBH. Although, that new DK game looks super fun.

Yep. Wasn't planning on pre-ordering but Walmart had pre-orders up in my area for 9 hours so it was easy for me to get.

I never buy consoles at launch.

I didn't even get the Switch until a couple years ago.

And I guarantee that I won't be getting the Switch 2 before the end of 2030.
