Money is tax free. In the latter option, Trump will become a dedicated socialist and dedicate the rest of his time in office to implementing socialism as best he can. The way the rest of the GOP and Trumps base respond to this shift will not be affected.

money because my prediction would be that by the end of next week now-socialist Trump will have fallen out of a conveniently placed window so they can make Vance the president

(seriously, I'd put better odds on Capcom making Darkstalkers 4 than the GOP, techbros and the Heritage Foundation ever accepting an actual left-winger as their president .)
