For me, I have to say Obama, and Im not even an Obama fan, but there really isnt a lot of competition. I was born during the Clinton presidency.

Obama I guess. I didn't pay attention to politics at all until 2016 when it became extremely obvious to me how important it is to vote Republicans the fuck out of here.
As someone who has never been to the USA: Obama.

Obama.

Right wing freaks were still there but far less rabid, and politics were normal under under. Biden is 2nd. Clinton is 3rd by virtue of me being too young to understand anything political during that time. W. Bush was a distant 4th, and of course the idiot we have now was a distant 5th even in relation to Bush.
Obama easily

Obama is classy and having him represent America felt pretty good.

Biden was fine but should've had the courtesy to back out earlier.

I was too young to remember Clinton's stuff politically but I've heard the 90s were pretty good... but he is connected to Epstein so he might go below Bush...

Bush was an idiot but I think he at least liked America. Was controlled by some pretty horrible people

Trump is a traitor to the country and having him represent America just sucks.

Obama should have been great, but Congress blocked nearly everything he tried to do. Clinton had a similar problem (especially wrt abortion and gay rights), but he still managed to balance the budget, introduce social programs, and pass good environmental legislation. Regardless of whether you think he created it or just didn't wreck it, he can take credit for an excellent economy. He even made major progress in the Arab-Israeli conflict.
Obama and Clinton were head and shoulders above the rest, but Obama is also head and shoulders above Clinton.

Probably Obama. By the time I was old enough to have any understanding of politics, we were already in the "literally anyone would be better than any republican" era that started with GWB, and I feel like Obama was better in the role than Biden.

Biden

He got a lot more stuff done with fiercer opposition in four years than most give him credit for. Obama squandered a generational golden opportunity in his first two years with huge majorities in congress that we'll probably never see the Dems have again in our lifetimes.
Irregardless, for all intensive purposes, I could care less.

Obama, I suppose. Though he wasnt some saint who was any less crooked than the rest. Bush Jr WAS the worst president in my lifetime, but..well here we are.

Biden was good for us.
Obama was the best in my lifetime, and would've been even greater had his political environment been even a little bit less hostile. I don't think many people in his situation would've been able to do as well.

I don't know what Clinton did specifically, but I'm not sure if he was riding out the good times.

Biden was pretty good, but he made major errors in foreign relations, and mostly did things that have been rolled back or are being rolled back. No permanent mark like the ACA.

Obama overall.

Biden was generally better during his term. The problem with Biden though is he failed throw everything at Trump and the MAGA movement and prosecute them which essentially destroyed all he accomplished in mere months once he left.
We all live in a Yellow SUV! a Yellow SUV!
Not sure. Obamas foreign policy was lacking, and his (in)actions led to some of todays challenges.

Maybe Ford just on the adage first do no harm. He was sort of a placeholder who helped the country recover from Nixons crimes. Then again, there was that pardon. And I dont actually remember him at all.

Biden did or tried to do a lot of things I agree with.

Bush Sr was overall a decent person, probably, but I did not agree with him on politics.

Nixon created the EPA, so theres that I guess.

Carter was whip-smart but didnt have the political savvy to guide a country that was in a bad place.

Reagan made (some of) the country feel good but had some awful policies and legacy.

Clinton was sleazy.

W Bush was incompetent AND had bad policies.

The other one needs no commentary from me.

None of them.
Nixon(self explanatory)
Ford(did he do anything of note)
Carter(meant well but inflation)
Reagan(trickle down econ)
Bush 1(a bit like carter ME wars, recession went back on his word on taxes)
Clinton( voted for him in the end I stopped voting for the next 20y)
Bush 2 (had intel 9/11 was being planned ignored it people died. Endless wars, 2008 recession was on the radar was also ignored. Patriot act)
Obama( took to long to get us put of recession. Was focused 9n AcA when the focus should have been getting us out of recession. I never recovered from the highs 2005-2008 because of that reason. We survived)
Trump( business did ok first term gas was cheaper. Being a centrist with some right leanings he promised something I supported but never came) the rest is self explantory. Get me a president that can do that without the personality and fascist baggage.
Biden. I'm going to stop there. Too much like Carter

I was too young to really be aware during Clintons run, but people seem to speak very favorably of when he was in charge.

Other than that, its obviously Obama.

Tell my tale to those who ask. Tell it truly, the ill deeds, along with the good, and let me be judged accordingly. The rest.. is silence.
I think if Bush Sr. got another term we probably would never have had a golden internet age. Wed skip directly to the shitty internet era.

This is my answer. He accomplished a lot considering how toxic and bad faith the GOP had become at that point. He is the kind of person we want as an Executive-smart and capable and inspiring. I admire him a lot.

I was really involved in Democratic politics during the 90s, so I met Clinton and those around him multiple times. He really is the most charismatic person I have ever been in a room with, and I actually think he was an extremely effective President. But he cannot be on the list, because his actions with women are just gross.

Carter was a very ineffective President, but maybe the best person to ever hold the office. I would have loved to shake his hand and thank him for all his great work. He made all of us better.

In addition, I have lived during three of the worst and most disastrous Presidents in American history: Reagan, GWB, and Trump. They have been a disaster for America, all three were instrumental in the broken system we have now, and they just may be hugely responsible for the implosion of our democracy.

The Presidents of my lifetime have been a very mixed bag. Trump is the worst in history and certainly the dumbest.

Trump is a traitor to the country and having him represent America just sucks.

This is a perfectly valid opinion, but I just want to voice mine that we shouldnt underestimate just how destructive the GWB presidency was. 9/11 happened on his watch. Then, when every American of every political belief was begging for a leader to unite them, Bush Jr. instead squandered that unprecedented moment of unity to divide us further, pass the Patriot Act, and run on fear of further attacks to win a second term. Then, he lied directly to all of us about WMDs to push us into a terrible war. Controlled or not, he was out front when all of this was happening.

This may sound strange for me to post, because I have strongly disagreed with those who have said GWB is worse than Trump on this board. I think time has proven me right that Trump is significantly worse: his presidency is literally destroying the freedoms that make America what it is.

But it is important for people (especially younger people) to know that the GWB presidency was almost as bad. And Trump being worse doesnt excuse the great damage his eight years in office did to the country.

An opinion does not turn into a fact simply because the person holding it feels strongly about it.
