well, yes, since this is something only happening in americaI think the US is also relatively unique in having several different names for the same drug, but I'm not super-certain on the other markets.
it's one of those things where the brand name just becomes the name regardless of if it's the brand name product or an offbrand. any tissue is a kleenex, any glass cleaner is windex, ect.
Tylenol could make a woman experience less pain, and we can't have that. After all, this administration doesn't actually view women as people.
US government: This drug that isn't available in most of the world and is primarily available in the USA, is the cause of something that exists in all countries at a reasonably comparable rate.
Also US government: Gun-fetish culture and ease-of-access that isn't available in most of the world and is primarily a thing in the USA, is in absolutely no way the cause of mass shootings / school shootings which exist in the USA at a very significantly higher rate than most of the world. Also now's not the time to talk about gun control.
Fucking Trump making me support a fucking pharmaceutical company.
One of the lowest, vilest things to ever exist.
Makes me sick.
Tylenol is just panadol? Why's Trump blaming a specific brand rather than the active ingredient? As much as I want to say because hes fucking stupid, it does seem hes not actually naming specific brands and its the media injecting that part.
im pretty sure the antivax movement started in the UK by a doctor who wanted to push a alternative vaccine that he had finical stake inAndrew Wakefield. The paper he wrote was so bad that it was not only retracted by the journal that published it but Wakefield himself was struck off by the British Medical Association after he was found to have committed fraud so he's no longer allowed to call himself 'Dr Wakefield'.

That's where the vaccine-autism fraud originates.Just to add to this, Wakefield recommended individual vaccines over the MMR jab, primarily because he benefited financially from such a course of actions. That means that the antivax guy of the modern era wasn't even against vaccines, just a specific vaccine .
But the anti-vax movement is as old as vaccinations themselves. As in this 19th Century cartoon:
<Picture snip>
It used to be a fringe belief, often associated with hippie 'wellness' culture. But then you add politicization to conspiracy-minded, internet-addled brains, and we end up where we are today.
The worm should've eaten the rest of his brain...
Who even uses Tylenol anymore?Anyone with a fever or pain but don't want an nsaid.
Who even uses Tylenol anymore?Tons of people? It's a super common over the counter drug here in the UK.
Anyone with a fever or pain but don't want an nsaid.Or cant use an NSAID.
Who even uses Tylenol anymore?I did less than a year ago
Who even uses Tylenol anymore?
Who even uses Tylenol anymore?
Why would you think people don't use acetaminophen anymore?
These ridiculous people say they have solved Autism in a matter of months.Yeah. As soon as they put out a deadline like "We'll have it by September" I knew they were full of shit. You can't know for sure when you'll have the answer to a question like this. You might find it tomorrow, it might take you ten years, and there's always the possibility you'll never find it. That's just how science works.
As soon as they put out a deadline like "We'll have it by September" I knew they were full of shit. What this probably actually means is like, "we approved more trials for this one drug that will start in september"
Tylenol brand is only worth it for the faster-acting liquid gels and your pharmacy doesn't have their own much cheaper store brand for them.I'd say it's not even worth it for that. Regular old tablets are absorbed so quickly the difference between them and the 'faster-acting' liquid gels is probably best measured in seconds if it can be measured at all.
Who even uses Tylenol anymore?
their whole "cure for autism" is going to be the same as their "cure for the pandemic" half a decade back:
"If we don't diagnose it, number go down!"

I thought they would be pushing ivermectin to cure autism
Immediately made me think of

So from a super brief googling it sounds like leucovorin shows that it may be helpful in specific cases of autism but more research is needed.Last time we had this situation a whole bunch of people shit themselves to death.
So of course RFK believes it to be a blanket cure I guess?
Anyone with a fever or pain but don't want an nsaid.This. I avoid NSAIDs (aspirin actually causes intense stomach pain).
This. I avoid NSAIDs (aspirin actually causes intense stomach pain).Aspirin is known for that. Ibuprofen is generally considered superior because it doesn't do that.
