Nirvana is one of my all time favorite bands. I fucking love them. They were a HUGE part of my life in high school and I remember when Smells Like Teen Spirit aired live for the first time on MTV and blowing up in the fall of 91. I remember watching Unplugged live with my friends.
I specifically remember the day I found out he was gone just days after my 18th birthday and the school trip I was on. I made a topic here last year on the 30th anniversary on his death and made a long post about that moment and how much I have enjoyed the band.
I have watched countless specials about the band, the speculative stuff about his death, and seen interviews with numerous people who were extremely close to him. Does that make me an expert just because I'm a huge fan? Of course not. But in my opinion he killed himself.
Not once has Dave or Krist ever doubted it was anything but suicide. That in and of itself is really telling to me. Most of the stuff people believe like about El Duce and so much other stuff that lives on in conspiracy has been debunked a lot. I could go on and on about this but I just don't have the energy to after all these years. He killed himself and that sucks and they are still one of my favorite bands who I consistently listen to.
