6 - He can be pretty good in the RPGs where they give him more dialogue and stuff, but otherwise he's just an iconic boss that never manages to pose more threat than a Goomba

RPG Bowser is perhaps the best character Nintendo (technically Square) has ever created, but even non-RPG Bowser is responsible for some of my favorite boss fights ever. There are very few villains I would rate this highly.

Not a novel villain. He resorts with stealing and kidnapping Princess Peach the same way pretty much every single time in every Mario game. Sorry for incising on the word every but, it's true.
Bowser doesn't really pull any real death-defying stunts in the games. He goes to the castle every time or rain on the parade of the castle in Super Mario Galaxy and...yeah.
I just don't see the appeal in Bowser.

I really don't have much to comment on regarding him. There are games I haven't played, games I have... He's just... nothing special, not good and not bad.
