Well?

yeah I'm a week late on this but whatever

this is one of the biggest contest matches ever so it deserves some reminiscence and a dumb poll
Link's the man and I had prize-money on the line.

No regrets.

Pretty sure, yeah. Would probably vote Snake if it happened again though.

Absolutely. L-Block was a victory of the collective.

The other dumb rallies were victories of outsiders.

Also f*** Draven.

ah the contest that casualized it all

What red said. Anyone trying to equate L-Block with the other rallies is simply ignorant. It was different.

I don't think I've ever voted against Link, but I enjoyed watching ol' Block take it home. Everyone got such a kick out of it.

And yeah, that was the high point of "those types" of rallies. They became garbage after that.
Don't remember if I voted for Cloud or Snake, but I definitely "wasted" my vote just to vote for my favorite.

It nearly worked out for my bracket if SBAllen hadn't ripped me off, too...!

It was shaped like a boot for that reason

Yes, I voted for L-Block back then and I would still have voted for L-Block in that situation today.

I stand by what I said a decade ago.
Voting for L Block equates you to any of the dictators of the 20th century for how evil you were....

The most despicable thing this site had ever done till that time.

Congrats to BKSheikah, BYIG Guru victorior

Nope. I don't vote for non-characters in a character contest.

It's kinda coincidental how like in most games pigs are evil.
It's a bit hazy, but I'm pretty sure I voted for L-block up until it ran up against snake. Wasn't unpleased with link losing.

It was different from draven/undertale in that it was at least chosen by the gamefaqs userbase

Although I can't disparage those events. it's possible those brigades were helpful in adding new long term ad clicking users to the site
You did indeed stab me in the back. However, you are only level one, whilst I am level 50. That means I should remain uninjured.
