So where do you guys want to see La Sombra now that he's left WWE? Back in Mexico? In ROH to reunite with Rush? NJPW to reunite with Naito?

Oh, speaking of New Japan, Ospreay won the New Japan Cup and kicked Bea Preistley out of the United Empire. People are furious.

La Sombra would slot right in in AEWs upper midcard and would be fools not to take the offer.

That said, he may take the boatload of money Sinclair can offer to be their bonafide stud and he may find that more appealing.

I heard Peacock did not hold up tremendously well for a lot of people.

For the record, it worked great for me. Stopped to buffer once. The live feed of the Network would stutter for me every few minutes. The archive always worked great though, and the Peacock archive is awful because there are commercial buffers added to everything that you still get even if you have the no commercials plan like me.
Turns out the Charlotte thing was that she got Covid.

And Andrade doesn't have a no-compete clause.

That's good to know. I heard more people were upset about the no pause/rewind on live stuff as well.

The fact that they waived it kind of says to me Andrade had some leverage

Generally credible people are tossing around (unsourced) accusations that Vince didnt approve of Charlotte/Andrade interracial relationship and may have made that known in an unsavory manner

I can only assume WWE pipes in cheering for The Fiend? He seemed to get a reaction last night, but the audience seemed pretty bored before their faces were switched off for whatever graphics they display for him.

To get on the Thunderdome screens you have to agree to cheer/boo as they direct you
Also, I didnt see it, but if the Fiend segment had any special effects then it wasnt live, and they would have been just using stock footage Thunderdome screens, and piped in chants yes.

Britt Baker: "I would love to work in the same company as Adam Cole, but I'm probably never leaving AEW."

Hmmmm...
Apparently the reason that the WWE archive is taking so long to put onto Peacock is that they're editing A LOT of stuff that wouldn't hold up today, like Vince saying the n-word to John Cena and Booker T at Survivor Series 2005. Apparently they're doing it with things that are fringe offensive as well.

You can ask people who know my wrestling viewing habits - I was very high on Tay Conti from the moment she joined the Undisputed Era. She could go extremely far in AEW's women's division with the right presentation.

It's weird because you see someone like Aliyah who's been in the performance center for years and hasn't improved at all, then you see someone like Raquel Gonzalez who debuted greener than goose shit and a year later looks legit as fuck.

So Keith Lee hasn't been on TV because he can't be medically cleared, which kinda explains this tweet:

Also original plans were for him to win the US title in the triple threat with him, Lashley, and Riddle, then face Sheamus at either Fastlane or WM.

Daniel Bryan on who he wants to wrestle

There are people whom I think are fantastic and want to wrestle, and it's hard to not mention the other people. There's this dream match that I've always had and people will look at me and say, 'What?' But that's only because they haven't seen him wrestle in Mexico, and that's Gran Metalik. That guy's awesome." Regarding others, he said, Okada, from the time I got to WWE until now, he's gone from someone you didn't know much about to one of the best wrestlers in the world. I've actually wrestled Shingo (Takagi), and he's fantastic. I always loved him in Ring of Honor, and I wasn't even 30 years old yet, but for whatever reason, I wrestled Seth Rollins in one of his first big singles matches in Ring of Honor, and it was really the story of the veteran versus the young up-and-comer. I've always loved doing that sort of thing and those kinds of matches. When you look at the AEWs or whatever it is, somebody like Jungle Boy or MJF or Darby Allin. Those guys are really interesting to me. When you look at NXT, he's not young, but I've always wanted to wrestle Kushida. That guy's great. Kyle O'Reilly and I, I don't know if we've ever wrestled. I've always wanted to do a singles match with him because he's gotten so, so good. Finn Balor and I have wrestled on the independents once or twice, and I'd love to do a match with him in WWE. There are just so many guys. The problem is, guys are so good now and I like wrestling so much, so when you start naming names, then other names come up. In Ring of Honor, there's a guy named Jonathan Gresham. He's fantastic. I'd love to wrestle Jonathan Gresham. There are all these great guys. When people say that, one thing I don't like about that is that sometimes it minimizes how many guys in WWE I'd like to wrestle. I've never wrestled Matt Riddle one-on-one. I've never wrestled Ricochet one-on-one. I've wrestled Johnny Gargano one-on-one before I came to WWE, but it was mostly a comedy match where I got my pants pulled down and my butt was probably out for a full five minutes. Kushida match, a Kyle O'Reilly match, there are so many great guys. William Regal's son, Bailey Matthews, just debuted on NXT UK. I'd love to do a match with him. William Regal has helped me so much in my career. I don't know, when you start talking about guys I want to wrestle, I get really fired up, so it's hard to limit it to just a few."

When you look at the AEWs or whatever it is
"I really want to wrestle all these guys!"

*stays with company that has had him wrestle the same three people since the start of 2021*
TheRock ~ I had a name, my father called me Blues.
Listen, I don't blame him, or anyone else, for staying in WWE. Daniel Bryan has a family now. He's trying to make enough money to give his kids a good life. So yeah, he could want to wrestle all these people, but this is where the safest money is for him.

I only have a problem with people who don't really have a family they want to support and aren't in a top position to make loads of money and then complain about WWE not using them right so they can get to that level and it's like... you have to know what company you're getting into. They can't use some of the best talent in the world in a decent way and haven't for years now, and it's worse than it's ever been. If you get into it now and later complain about not being elevated to a point, that's on you. But if you're there and happy with your paycheck and your position, all the power to you.

I just think it comes off as pretty disingenuous to be all "gosh I really love wrestling and just want to wrestle and here's all the guys I want to wrestle." Been staying with the place that doesn't even want to call itself a wrestling company. Like yeah I don't expect him to come out and say "oh I'm just doing this for the paycheck." But it's basically the worst kept secret at this point that he's only there because he wants to support his family.

Not to mention we're in an era where Indie money is good money. I don't think people like Jon Moxley would be starting families if they were worried about finances. Or hell even look at guys like Christian and Big Show. They've got families.
TheRock ~ I had a name, my father called me Blues.
Also, and I'm probably wrong about this, I think this will be Cesaro's first WrestleMania where he's in a singles match.
TheRock ~ I had a name, my father called me Blues.
I mean, I'm assuming they asked him this question, and he's mentioning other people and building up their cred. He's not bullshitting people. He's just giving a more honest answer.

And Daniel Bryan could leave, and I'm sure that AEW would throw money at him to get him, but WWE probably just offered even more (assuming his last contract was signed when AEW was around). But for guys like Christian and Big Show, they've been doing this for even longer and have presumably been smart with their money so far. They're getting paid good in AEW, but WWE didn't care about Christian or Big Show and barely tried to get them to stick around on a legends contract to block them.

Moxley was a current main eventer who left because he knew his star power could grow from his current level without being under WWE's thumb, and the timing was right with AEW.

A lot of the people he named are in WWE so theres still a chance for them to wrestle him
He also revealed his contract is up soon so who knows. He's said this is his final year as a full time wrestler.
TheRock ~ I had a name, my father called me Blues.
Yeah he re-signed in 2018 after he came back right? They were still on 3 year deals as standard pre-AEW
Which I think means we are about to hit a point a little over a year from now when all the three year deals are up and no ones WWE contract expires for 2 years after that <_<
