I dont have high hopes for this since it sounds kinda like the GT idea, but everyone being small. More DB Super wouldve been preferable, but being a DB fan Ill check this out and pray its not as shitty as GT was

the original leak for this did say a super continuation would happen after this is over so theres some hope there

but yeah this is certainly something. 'maybe' itll have that original db feel to it and be kinda good but im not expecting much

Toriyama has definitely earned the right to do what he wants with the franchise but at the same time I'm struggling to find excitement for a prequel series where the main characters are children
I find it kinda bussin, I find it kinda cap

It bothers me the designs arent even consistent with the premise. Master Roshi is a child and completely bald still, but Mr. Satan is a child and lost his afro and mustache? Does this mean child 18 is a full human and not an android? Gohan not even shown at all when hed be regressed to an age where he was arguably at his most popular. Knowing Toriyamas lack of care for his own series I wouldnt even be surprised if he just forgot 18 was human

In fairness the kids series he made is massively popular among multiple age groups where something like Paw Patrol isnt really comparable to the Dragon Ball series. I dont think anyone really praises Toriyamas writing for the Dragon Ball series anyways. Maybe for bits and pieces, but he just managed to create a massive hit and unfortunately doesnt really seem at all interested in adding much character depth to his world.

Im not surprised. Kid Goku and Dragon Ball era is massively more popular in Japan than overseas. Theyre probably super nostalgic to see Goku as a child again with his Power Pole
