I'm trying to think of who would make the list for human JRPG characters, non-FF division.Assuming we don't count silly stuff like Mario that got there start elsewhere, I'd probably lock away Sora and Red as the "too obvious" top two "iconic" characters.
Red or Crono would probably win anyway. I guess there's an outside chance for Joker or maybe even Shulk.
