My work being safety-focused. Specifically, I'm doing lead air monitoring tests on three of the range officers present. Basically I attach a peristaltic pump to each officer with a filter over their shoulder, close to their breathing zone, and let them go about their day. After the day, I'll take all the samples, submit them to the lab, and get results on lead (likely very small).
Once I've set them up and turned them loose there's honestly very little for me to do, so I'm just chilling in their break area doing a presentation for later this week.
I've never been to a gun range before. Guns aren't really my thing. It's mostly pretty chill here. Was a bit of a poor first impression as I walked on a group of parents chatting while their kids were doing a junior course, and the parents were all discussing violent offenders and what to be done with them, but that was just a little bit at the beginning.
Still a pretty unique day for old Cyric.
