People have built stores and planes for Pokemon because many, many, many people love Pokemon.

That has absolutely nothing to do with an obsession. People who do not base their lives around Pokemon will still visit the Pokemon store or fly on the Pokemon plane. You have absolutely no idea what this discussion is about.

That video is on youtube. It is a pretty popular video. The general fanbase finds it funny. This has nothing to do with doujinshi. The general fanbase thinks that taking a character from a little girl's TV show and turning it into a character about molestation is funny. It's disgusting and very indicative of the reddit/4chan culture bronies seem to be based around.

And people who are obsessed with Pokemon (not passionate, this is a difference you don't seem to understand) are terrible too. They're just not as bad as people obsessed with MLP, aren't as numerous (the amount of terrible people in the MLP fanbase is ridiculously proportionally high compared to other fanbases), and haven't co-opted and ruined a work that wasn't even meant for them.

That applies to everything, though. The difference between 'everything' and 'MLP' is that bronies have co-opted the work so much that it's significantly easier to find things related to MLP.

I'll admit, there are some real Brony freaks out there. But I've also met my fair share of Bronies who are actually normal, perfectly friendly people. John de Lancie is making the Brony documentary because he's been a part of the Trek fandom, and understands that there are a lot of similarities between the fandoms, and that just because you're passionate about something doesn't mean you're a freak.

There are plenty of people who watch MLP and are fine. B8ers here are evidence of that. My problem lies with the people who take it too far; not only is the obsession, not just being passionate about it, the obsession just ridiculously inherently creepy, and they're the only obsessed group I've seen that is actually harming the original demographic the work was meant for.

I don't really care what it mean to 'be a brony'. That doesn't mean anything. Every fanbase has normal people that just enjoy the work; that's not what fanbases are judged on. A fanbase as a whole is judged on the worst, and the worst of MLP is a degree more terrible than any other fanbase I've ever seen.

I think the thing that sort of angers people about Bronies is that they're taking something meant for little girls and warping it. It's one thing to get obsessive about something aimed at your audience. It's another to essentially steal a show not meant for you.

And that's what it's essentially is, because I've heard parents complain about how impossible it is for their daughters to search for MLP on the internet without getting some meme site or weird sex s***. That's another thing that's so much worse about MLP than other fandoms; that they've somehow taken a show about ponies meant for little girls and made a phenomenal amount of weird sex s*** related to it. It's disgusting in ways that typical weird sex s*** can't even touch.

While I haven't seen the show myself, from what I've heard of it, it's (while funny) very shallow. "Let's be friends" as a running theme is not something that any mature-minded adult should be obsessed over. It implies a level of naivety and immaturity among the fanbase that creeps a lot of people out, I think.

And this is just me personally, but the fan works I've seen of MLP have almost universally been "Take pony, stick in something else". Let's take Doctor Who and remake a scene with ponies in it, hilarious!!!!! Fan stuff of other works can get creative, but fan stuff of MLP seems to be just that, and to me that implies that the fanbase cares more about the fact that they're watching ponies than the actual show itself.

So yeah. Bronies suck, worst fanbase that's ever existed, sorry B8ers who are bronies I don't mean you.

I watched my friend play through all of Demon's Souls. He challenged the idol without doing what you were supposed to. The look on his face when nothing happened after beating the boss was pretty priceless.

Darius. I just haven't been playing so I didn't think it was recurring. Game crashes without fail at about the same time in the game (right when jungling starts). Says my drivers are messed up, except everything else but LoL works perfectly and this didn't happen until Darius.

Giant Bomb is really bad at video games. Check their Chrono Trigger Endurance Run if you don't believe me. It's just abysmal.

I agree that 3-1 has an amazing atmosphere, it's probably my favorite single area in the series. The enemies are easy once you get the hang of it, but before that, man. It was even worse for me because the first time I was going through it was the first time I got invaded. Fun stuff.
