Amumu gets destroyed pre-Level 6 by anyone who knows what they're doing. Post Level-6 he can change teamfights and win games with his ult, the idea is to set him too far behind for that to matter. I don't think he's gotten a buff recently, you might just be playing people that don't know how to counterjungle or something.

Apparently they were planning on doing something else for the likes on facebook, but it didn't develop well. So instead they did this and the entire forums went into an uproar.

By the way, does it matter what kind of extra damage a weapon does? Like if one weapon does 5-10 extra fire damage and another does 5-10 extra poison damage, does the distinction actually make a difference?

I think it's annoying when the best strategy is to spam the magic over and over. Especially the fist.

It doesn't really pay to get up close and risk damage when magic replenishes and does so much more damage.

I was fine with that because Nier's magic effects are amazing and fun to use. Every spell feels very visceral and has a dramatic effect. It isn't a hard game, but it's entertaining.

By the way, in regards to the thing you spoiled:

I don't think it's necessary that Nier didn't learn about the revelations. His attitude in the entire half of the game is borderline fanatical, what with the whole 'Aerie blows up? Whatever, don't look back' spiel and everything after that. The game goes at some lengths to basically show that Nier just doesn't care about anything but saving Yonah and killing Shades anymore. Even if he had learned the truth of everything (and I think it's hinted a few times that he had an idea), it's doubtful that he would've cared.

Also, there's one small scene in the tree text segment where they meet a sentient Shade. Nier basically goes "whatever" and immediately kills it while Weiss is freaking out.
