I would have probably liked it better as a stand alone (though in no way do I consider cc an 'exceptional' rpg), but the story was much inferior to that of ct as well as the character dev. Decent game though.

X was at one point put on the board scale of VIII (both great imo).

and I like cc ok, was just really disappointed with the story/character dev. the actual gameplay/world exploring was alot of fun. one of those games that doesnt come close to the hype.

bleh chrono cross is barely above average psx rpg to me...bad story and nonexistent character development...the gameplay and world were cool but not enough to overcome the flaws in my book. also, ct is overrated though it was better than cc by alot.

I never had a problem with the voice acting as I dont put too much emphasis on such things. the story and characters were solid and I enjoyed blitzball.

I never understood the hate some people had for X, and I still dont understand the hate for VIII....just unusual to see it go from being almost hated to being (possibly) the boards favorite final fantasy game.
