Goblins are hard in SS. They change blocking positions faster than your Wii registers your wiimote.

I think everyone ends up with their own method for killing these guys, but personally, I hold the Wiimote up, then swing horizontally.

Also with the lesser goblins, if you can start a swing on them when they start their attack animation, you will hit them. Doesnt work for the tougher enemies in the game though, so I really suggest you rely on this as little as possible.

So Skyrim was good, and long, and blew me away for awhile. Then I got to the point everything kind of rolled over to me and it wasnt very exciting anymore, so I moved on to Skyward Sword. So I play it, I think its good. I'm a good 20 or so hours, so I figure I'm coming u on the end. 20 hours later, I think the game is still really really good, and I think I'm close to the end. 10 hours later, I think the game is amazing(Aside from Tadtones, which were about a 1 hour period in which I really wanted to kill myself) and I'm finally actually approaching the end(As in, its really obvious).

Now that I've finished with both games(Each which suckered in over 50 hours for a first playthrough. I think I actually spent more time on Skyward Sword at this point, though its close, and I still have a ton of quest lines to do on Skyrim), I cant really pick up the will to play anything else(Aside from LoL and WoW, but those are more ritualistic than anything).

I just wish we had some sort of quick-travel for flying at some point(and for warping between statues, having to go to the sky and then return is so irritating). Flying was cool for like the first 30% of the game. After that, it was pretty tedious(Its basically this games version of wolf link, they put it in and then didnt expand upon it).

It is literally 100x easier to lose at champ select in dota than it is in LoL.

I personally thought MDW was Pinkie the whole time. As for the horn and the wings...well...Pinkie can probably find some way to use that...somehow.

I bit onto the Pinkie theory when Dash started mentioning the knowing things before they happen thing. Especially since MDW seemed to be bouncing around everywhere.

This was actually something people kept clamoring about to cite the ep as being "too obvious", but at that point the viewer is supposed to get that its a team effort.

Where'd the ghost line came from? And affecting Pinkie Pie?

They had that whole ghost writer bit earlier in the episode. pinkie has a weird sense of humor when it comes to being scared(Personally, I wish they'd have taken the Fluttershy route with this joke, but it wasnt the worst thing with the episode).

And after thinking about the ep for a bit, while Dash was especially unlikeable, I think one of the bigger problems was that the whole cast(Aside poor Scootaloo) was unlikeable. I mean, the whole plan was kind of jerkish, particularly when they got to the whole scene where they talked about MDW in front of Dash(Complete with jerkish laughter). The whole ep just kind of lacked any sort of redeeming character to give that "yay" factor to everything else going on.

Ehh, its been pretty standard dexter as far as multiple storylines going on. Last year was actually really bad with those in regards to giving us payout on anything(The main Dexter storyline was basically the only one that went anywhere interesting).

This season could have decent payout on multiple storylines, but its suffered from some really terrible episodes. there definitely is some storyline dropping potential there though(Random ice truck killer evidence, hopefully this comes back for -something-).

-So I guess that theory that Gellar is a vision is over right? Or else they are reallyyyy stretching that Colin Hanks would somehow chain himself to the floor

Alternatively, its his other self chaining himself down before giving up control. We dont know for certain, but lots of things so far point to it being a vision(Including Dexter getting a terrible "get a new vision" episode. That episode established Dexters vision doing things that should be impossible.)

btw with wii motion plus, to calibrate it says put it on a flat surface. However, I tried that, and it felt just a bit off. So instead I started just holding the damn thing as if I were playing, and it seems to match my motions just a bit better. I could be crazy, but it definitely feels more accurate to me.

In short, the Empire nearly got destroyed, made peace in part by outlawing Talos worship.

Talos is pretty popular in Skyrim(hence the rebellion), and the Thalmor dont like it.

ehhh second dungeon boss kind of disappointing. Mainly because the back of the arena was very poorly thought out(And the boss did a good job killing itself for whatever reason.

The difficulty seems fair so far as well. Not too hard, but not too easy either. You gotta time your shield bash's just right or else you're getting hit and you usually lose a full heart too.

its not the heart that hurts, its the shield durability loss.

Can someone explain how the tightrope thing even worked? I figured slant the wiimote to balance, but it doesnt seem to work. My most successful attempts are randomly shaking the thing and I only occasionally fall.

My big complaint so far with motion controls, i cant for the life of me get a forward stabbing motion to come out with any bit of consistency. And some of the early fights(the damn skulltulas) require quite a bit of precision on the stab to get the hit in without taking one yourself(or it coming out too early and just whiffing).

Also using a shield doesnt feel natural at all.
