Why remove even a small type of customization? Relics were unique and cool.

They provide loot problems when 1 class needs 1 specific type of loot depending on spec. They need that to drop, but after that, everytime it drops its wasted. And its a very small upgrade most of the time. In cataclysm they were relegated to insignificant loot bought from a vendor that was more a chore than anything.

Ulduar was pretty epic when it was released and how menacing Algalon basically was difficulty wise.

Algalon difficulty was kind of inflated by the time limit.

Now, getting to Algalon, that was pretty damn tough.

Ulduar was amazing though. Everything about it was excellent.

Is it true Warriors can no longer use guns...I stopped playing WoW awhile ago but what the hell is this?

they are getting rid of ranged weapons as a slot. Hunters will equip bows/guns in their mainhand, wands will become a main weapon, etc. I believe no more relics and weird unique slots like that either.

Don't know where they fit in the lore and if it'd make sense for them to be playable but the had a pretty huge role in TFT and I think it amounts to something.

there were literally thousands of nagas hiding out in the abyssal maw being old god corrupted and ready to destroy us all.

And then blizzard decided the storyline wasnt compelling and dropped the plan entirely, leaving us with no closure on an entire zone.

I really like how when any WoW player becomes disgruntled, he runs to whatever big name MMO might be on the horizon and stand by it like it's the death of WoW.

They all come back within the year.

To be fair, TOR is probably the highest profile MMO to come out in a good while(no name out of nowhere games like Rift never have much of a chance). I'm totally ignoring the FFXIV disaster here(And mind you, that game only had to appeal to FFXI players, and it failed miserably).

I don't pretend to be a WoW fanatic, but I can say with absolutely certainty that the number one biggest demand the just under 10 people I know who play the game have had since day 1 has been Pandarians, and that it is above and beyond the most requested class.

People like Pandas.

Now, they could give us Pandas, and then not dedicate a whole damn expansion to their area that no one gave a damn about.

I mean, they gave us Blood Elves, they'd been pretty much everywhere for awhile. They gave us Worgen, they'd had a big giant wall taunting us for years. They gave us Goblins, they'd pretty much been everywhere anyways(And were in fact blizzards failed attempt at giving us a compelling neutral faction). They gave us space goats...they came from umm, space. None of these had an entire damn expansion dedicated to their area. The space goats came out of nowhere, and they werent and never will be a compelling race.

knowing that, why the hell would they give us an expansion that literally comes out of nowhere.

The storylines will be closed out, assuming you means one like Garrosh vs. Sylvanas and the like. They explicitly said the lore surrounding this xpac is more alliance vs. horde as opposed to having a "big bad".

Alliance vs Horde hasnt been compelling for a long time.

While they still had a high peak subscriber count for Cataclysm, subscriber retention has been plummeting.

Nobody has said that any of that isn't going to happen though. We know literally nothing about what exactly is going to happen lorewise

Pandaria has literally had no importance in anything ever aside from people liking pandas and it being a way for blizzard to put a panda model in the game.

It is literally a joke location.

Also for those that dont want to go to mmo-champion, heres companion pet pokemon:

Pet Battle System

* You will be able to collect, level, and battle with companion pets.

* Pet Customization, you will be able to name your pet, give them visual abilities, etc ...
* There will be "Wild pets", you can find them in the world and engage in battle with them. You will then be able to get that pet and add it to your Pet Journal.

red views WoW from a different lens than most.

Red wants epic high end raids and lots of them. New classes hold nothing of value in his eyes.

I wanted them to close out some of the storylines they've had hanging over us.

Instead we got Pandas.

3) Even with that said, LoL might have a larger following? It is difficult to compare, we never had any numbers for how many DotA games got created and played a day, things like that.

LoL blows DotA out of the water in following(in terms of "playing at once", I'm sure a ton of people played dota at one point or another).

Its huge(and free).

UC1 was definitely tougher, but it was still quite a bit shorter. Granted, both are lengthened depending on how much exploring/treasure hunting you do.

1 is about 5-7 hours long, 2 is about 10-12. Both are excellent games regardless of length.

Note that playing 2 immediately after 1 will make it a cakewalk in terms of difficulty.

Its not the skillshot champions that are hurt. Its all the champions without skillshots as their attack animations are stopped and their movement is halted.

I think I found dungeon 5 out of frustration when I was younger.

And also a lack of possible entrances.

The top right corner of the map may have destroyed hours of my life as well.

I can only imagine. One thing I really like about the original LoZ is how the combat stresses patience. Going crazy with the sword (as is often customary in 3D Zelda games) would get you killed in seconds against a room of Darknuts.

To this day I still get frustrated and will zerg a blue wizrobe or two at the start of a room to lower their numbers a bit(actually, I'll probably clear any orange first). 3 is manageable, any more than that and they start jumping around and its easier to just eat a few hits to take a couple down.

I've got darknuts down pretty well though.

I found it before finding dungeon 4-7.

It was a pretty out of place bush.

When I was younger, Wizrobes absolutely destroyed my gaming self-confidence for awhile.

I'd beaten it before, but I just replayed the original Zelda the other day. It blew my mind when I realized how quickly and easily I'd beaten it. I remember struggling for days when I was younger just to get the damn raft.

Granted, the internet and the information available to me over the years certainly helped(I definitely didnt know the location of every heart container when I was younger).

even with a walkthrough.

Ehhh. You'd have taken a hell of a lot longer without a walkthrough, assuming you'd never played it much before.
