Solid 7/10 games. Fun, nothing to really hate, but nothing to really hype up either. I think we need more series' like that.

Lego Batman, Harry Potter, Indiana Jones, etc.
That series is like the definitive "fun game" that's not serious at all. I also haven't heard of or seen anyone trashing these games. I liked Fable 2. Thought it was a solid 7.5 game. I'm not expecting much from Fable 3, just as long as it's similar to Fable 2 then I'll be ok with it.

Ottawa traded their first and second round picks (traded their first for Rundblad a couple seasons ago) for a disgruntled "scorer" who can't seem to score in the NHL. It originally looked like a good trade, but there's been far too many cases where under-achievers were under-achieving for a reason other than being in a crappy place. Way too risky, not worth it.

So I'm pretty upset with the Avs game last night. Played well in the first two periods then complete got schooled in the final. But, I will say that there were some definite highlight goals coming out of both ends. Duchene's goal was ****ing sick!

I'm a firm believer in the Pokemon themselves being kings, and the trainers being crap.

MW3 is always a shoe-in to make the final group. It will probably win too, based on Spike being as fratboyish as they come. Uncharted and/or Portal 2 would be booted for being the weakest games on that list (or they might just add another game instead of taking one out), and Uncharted isn't as popular as Portal.

Watch the games and you'll see more than you'll get from looking at the standings. I've watched maybe 20 games since the season started and I can say that Ottawa looks a lot better than people expected them to. They're just struggling to find consistency because of rookies, new players, a new coach and a brand new system. 15 - 20 games in we'll see where they end up on the spectrum but they've shown a lot of good. Without some shoddy calls they could easily be 4 - 4 right now with a win over Washington (they completely dominated that game but Auld let them down huge and they had a goal called off for no reason whatsoever.)

Avs are first place in the NHL. Only team with ten points. Undefeated in their longest away stretch of the season (5-0). And yet, every game they get doubted and are considered the underdog. I don't understand it. Trading away Anderson was the best thing this team has done in a long time, and it's definitely paying dividends right now.
