Because he's not the Best in the World at ratings. <_<

when did Cena put over Barrett

Hell in a Cell 2010

Just watched Raw. HOLY **** they have potentially landed ass-backwards into Daniel Bryan super-stardom.

Sure, those were smark holdovers from WM, but let's not forget, people are sheep. Now that THIS crowd has established how fun "YES!" is, other crowds will start doing it as well.

I still agree with how WM was booked, but going forward they HAVE to showcase Bryan more for now unless they want to throw away money.

Poor Sheamus though. He's the real victim here.

I don't really feel as if the win is tainted but why make John do something so out of character?

It wasn't really out of character though. He never took "Dwayne" seriously because in his mind, unlike everyone else he's ever faced, "Dwayne" doesn't even care about being a wrestler. And a large portion of the match, which he dominated, validated his suspicions in his mind that "The Rock" is dead and "Dwayne" just sucks. So then he wants to humiliate the guy and send him packing back to Hollywood where he belongs, and WHAM.

Cena even flat-out said "I don't respect The Rock" and spent weeks trying to pry "the REAL Rock" out of Dwayne Johnson because for him to feel like he actually accomplished something, he had to beat peak Rock and not some pale imitation.

By the time Cena decided to go for the People's Elbow, he totally felt like he had been largely dominating the match and that this was not peak Rock and felt like he was just gonna own this idiot for not even caring enough to "show up" for this match by beating him with his own move.

ANX returned and they had a 2-match series at Showdown in the Sun, with ANX winning on Day One and the Bucks winning on Day Two.

You don't think Daniel Bryan has his rematch on television and then Cody ends up being Sheamus's Extreme Rules opponent?

I don't think they're going to make Cody wait too long from losing the Intercontinental title to challenging for the WHC. This thing with Big Show probably isn't going another month.

Cody's not quite ready yet for Sheamus.

If they don't stretch out Bryan's rematch, then it would be Kane or Mark Henry.

Watching Punk/Jericho again. Match really picks up from the suplex outside the ring onwards.

I think I understand the reasoning behind throwing in the DQ thing for no honestly good reason. They kinda booked themselves into a corner (especially after Monday's beatdown of Christian) where it wouldn't make sense for Punk to do anything besides walk in there and try to destroy Jericho by any weapon necessary. For Punk to walk in there and just wrestle Jericho, or even to just brawl with him within the rules, would seem weird.

So their options were to either do this or just make it no-DQ. Doing this allows them to EVENTUALLY get to the pure wrestling match once Punk's anger subsides, whereas I think they're saving a no-DQ for later.
