McBonesII sums it up nicely in post #258. I need to add "getting older." People just don't care as much as they used to.
I want to underline just how useless the board contests, and especially save contests, are. So much energy invested from a limited circle of people (most just don't give a damn, so we've got the same people doing multiple saves per round), and what happens if your character/pokemon/moment/whatever wins at the end?
