sounds like you're better at this game than I am. I had like 9 and still got screwed by the last boss pretty good.

are you in Underworld still, HM?

Deus Ex got surprisingly negative reactions during e3. I get the feeling it was a bad demo to put in a trade event.

I'm totally cool with it. I like Uncharted's story and its characters are alright. I just don't get the idea of looking forward to some Drake/Sully drama. I'd much rather look forward to an epic battle on a plane or trying to steal something from a boat. you know, things not really about the plot and more about just action.

time for a summer drought. here are your big releases for the summer:

6/21 Shadows of the Damned
7/26 El Shaddai
7/26 Catherine
8/23 Deus Ex 3

I think that's it. thank goodness for stuff like summer of xbla, huh? October and November are going to be absolutely swamped but the summer is just a dead zone this year.

Lavos can be pretty tough. it's all about gear rather than level, so doing sidequests helps there.

double techs lol

yeah, Frog is cool until the endgame where he has no good high damage tech. same with Marle.

let me guess. Chrono Trigger's amazing pacing is so good that you can't stop playing to update this topic?

I understand!

I kinda think CT should be the end of your excursion. Tactics or Xenogears won't really mesh with you, I don't think, and FF6 might be a struggle. just a personal guess. try FF6 next if you're gonna try anything.

protip for playing Chrono Trigger: you can do whatever the hell you want. the game isn't hard. if you want to use a party of Crono/Frog/Lucca, go for it. it won't be a problem. CT is mega-simple (in a good way) so complex strategies really aren't necessary.

I knew you'd like this game. in a lot of ways it feels like a Nintendo game with all its charms. Crono's got a lot of that Link charm too. (moreso than Link if you ask me)
