Though my name comes from Secret of Mana, I've soured on it over time. It's still a lot of fun, but learning that the second half of the game has a lot unfinished because it was originally developed for SNES CD system that never happened so a lot of the story beats (Ravnica/Empire stuff, Sage Joch), some of the temples (Luna Temple iirc, maybe Dryad), a lot of the towns, some of the weapon bugs likely would've been fixed and it'd be even more of an incredible game. It's like Wind Waker getting a rush job towards the end and just feeling hollow whenever companies decide to do a remake/remaster and do little-to-nothing to update what was crunched out. Thank god for Trials of Mana.

Bonus Question: What is the craziest game youve ever seen your team win?

Technically, it's probably the Patriots/Falcons Super Bowl. But since I didn't really care, shrugged early in the third quarter nonchalantly saying, "It's Tom Brady. He can pull it out," and went back to reading or whatever, ot really doesn't count emotionally.

However, the one season of sports I was completely invested in was the Red Sox 2004 series, and that Game 6 against the Yankess with jerkass entitled egomaniac heroic Curt Schilling and the bloody sock. Or maybe the 14-inning Game 5. Or maybe the blood moon series win.

SC > Azure > FC > Zero > CS1 > 3rd > CS3 > CS4 (so far) > CS2

Now why did I pick Iris specifically for this writeup? Well, when my wife and I were dating, we had that conversation about who our favorite bands were, and I told her about my infatuation with the Goo Goo Dolls as a teenager. She knew their music was still meaningful to me, so when the time came for her to tell me we were expecting our first child, this was the song she played as I entered the room for her to show me the positive pregnancy test. Thats a vivid memory that will stick with me. I wont go into details, but it was tough for my wife to get pregnant once we actively started trying to have a kid, so there was a triumph and a joy to that moment that I now associate with this song.

I love Iris. I tried listening to their first album or two a few months ago on Spotify, and didn't really... remember any of it. Will look to get back to it. I did it for a ton of Stevie Wonder & all of REM's albums last fall. No ideas on happy moment associations. That will need some thought.

First thing that came to mind was a certain Stranger Things character in Season 3. Watched Hunger Games for the first time and there's a line towards the end that isn't in the books that hit hard. The Wire's a complicated show where I really only outright hate/dislike three characters, so I can't really count a whole bunch of moments even though they're at the forefront of my mind. Closest to this question would be when Namond ||breaks down at the gym.|| I pretty much disliked him the second-most of everyone that season (first being ||Herc. **** Herc. **** Herc completely for Randy and Bubbles. And anyone who got sent to the rowhouses* between his stop of the car and telling cool Lester smooth||), and that hurt to see and opened my emotions to him.

Very good question I need to ponder further.

For individual songs, I'll admit I'm curious if you had any thoughts on Surrender (Ramin Djawadi and Brandon Campbell | Surrender [Post 72]) as the best we came up with was 'this song exists', but I imagine you'd have said something already if you had anything you truly want3d to say.

I didn't write down notes for anything unless I had something to say. I gave it 4.5 (C-) so I liked it well enough to enjoy it, but it wasn't something that stood out. Kust gave it another listen, and yeah, a nice atmospheric track but it does nothing. It reminds me of "Hors D'uvre" from my ranking topic where it wasn't bad to listen to, but it slips away from memory the instant it ends.

May as well do some notes since my earbud batteries didn't refresh too much.

Let's see, what are we talking here? what definitions can I stretch enough to include the most, literally and figuratively?

What show made me the most emotional (the one where I had to take an hour long walk at 4am to process)?
- That would be The Wire, specifically Season 4's finale. If I watched the first three seasons live, it could've applied to at least three prior episodes as well.

What show has made me the most emotional (value over time)?
- Probably Lost. There are so many moments I can remember that make me well up a bit, and enough passion still burning inside that I could talk, write, discuss, reminisce, quote about it pretty much anytime. There is a deep well of emotion that could flood over quickly.

What show has made me the most emotional (biggest outpouring of emotions)?
- I think Boy Meets World hit me in the teenage feelings a few times. I remember cry talking about the finale.

What show has made me the most emotional (use of music)?
- Scrubs. Some examples? "The Book of Love." "How to Save a Life." "Waiting For My Real Life to Begin." "Light of Day." "Hey Ya." "Over the Rainbow." "I Will Follow You Into the Dark." "Hallelujah." "Overkill." "Winter."

I thought of an answer that doesn't really answer this, but I can't move past it. There was an episode of Flash or Arrow where the characters have completely swapped lives and identities somehow, and they decide to go to Supergirl's universe for some related reason. Just the usual yearly big crossover between shows deal. But they open the portal and... it... here:

It just comes out of nowhere, the music and shots are presented with zero context if you don't understand the reference, and if you know the context, it feels like a meme happening and it hits full emotion. I rewound this like ten times because it came out of nowhere, I was barely keeping up with the live shows by now, and I just had it on and there was no lead up or aftermath of this (besides a Tom Welling and Erica Durance cameo from a different universe seasons later). It just happens. But it hit me like a meteor storm and filled me up.

That's my answer.
