I hope this continuation gives the other X-Men more screen time. The original mostly focused on Wolverine and Cyclops. Later seasons were actually nice enough to give us more of Xavier and Storm.

I was against Middle East involvement from day one. Most people just wanted the US to get the terrorist group involved (any random group would've sufficed). Unfortunately Republicans were in charge at the time, and used that opportunity (still think it was planned) to put us in yet another pointless war.

Because theyve been trying to copy Marvel and make a whole movie universe all making tons of money, but they can only use the people from and created in Spiderman comics. So yeah they can only use B-D list characters

They should know their limitations, work within that. They can't do what Disney and Warner Bros are doing. The best they can do is set up a Sinister Six movie, and they are doing a terrible job at that.

Disney can't stop them making a Spider-Man movie about Peter Parker either. Sony own the film rights to everything Spider-Man related. If tomorrow they wanted to make a new Spider-Man film with a new Peter they could do.

Not really. There's just too many wasteful Humans. That wouldn't be a problem, though, if we didn't have such corrupted rulers.

My dad is a huge Iron Fist fan, and even he didn't like the MCU adaptation. Said it was just as disappointing as the Double Dragon cartoon.

To be fair, I felt like he was portrayed this way in the movie, too. The movie just happened to be a "His pro-Kahndaq motivations happen to align" kind of situation, but I also atleast felt it sorta implied this could lead to him being a "villain" later, too.

I'm sure a sequel could've answered that, but alas, the DC cinematic universe is getting a reset.

Yeah, I don't get the topic. There are quite a few shows and movies with villain protagonists.

I guess TC means a show/movie where the protagonist is a villain who gets away with everything? Eh, that's not really fun to watch imo.

The posts about people having bad media literacy are also true. Lotta "Light did nothing wrong" types come away with the wrong message.

That list is of villain protagonists over the course of many many years. For one story of a villain protagonist, you have at least twenty of a story with a hero protagonist, and a dozen with an anti-hero.

I was referring to the Black Adam movie. At least with the comics it was a transition.

The Homelander thing struck me as really odd, since the whole point of The Boys, was that superheroes aren't really the heroes we thought them to be. Homelander being evil wasn't even subtle.

Perhaps, but there is enough of an audience for it. Anime has quite a few villain protagonists.

The rest of the English translation to Villainous is in limbo. Carmen Sandiego was watered down in the Netflix adaptation. And Black Adam/Morbius/Kraven were turned into anti-heroes. Even in the old days, shows and movies in American studios that featured a villain protagonist was pretty rare.
