Yeah, in all honesty, Dragon's Dogma 2 was pretty much what I wanted out of a sequel to Dragon's Dogma. I wanted more Dragon's Dogman because I loved the systems in it. I wasn't expecting there to be almost zero iteration on its core systems and even the look of the world, but oh well. Hopefully they address a lot of the issues. Am I correct in assuming that there is no Ur Dragon in the post game? That was a big reason why people played for the post game.

I feel like that can be done in an update. Hoping there's some sort of extra added in, on the same spirit as the ur dragon.

I prefer pencils in general, still use them regularly unless I specifically have to use a pen.

Playing on PC, the performance is a bit better, aside from the starting area.

Tried a new game on another PC(couldn't really run it on it before, can with some jitter now) and the starting area is a mess of floating NPCs and the ground textures not being exactly where the ground is. Everything else looks fine though lol

If you get the golem to fall, Maelstrom is basically a guaranteed kill on it. But yeah Sorc is super solid this time

Apparently the Seism spell on Sorcerers wrecks Golems? Haven't tried myself yet.

Seism and Maelstrom can delete golems like they're nothing, honestly.

Edit: You also don't have to Wait for the last point to light up. If you stab at it enough, the spot on the arm, you'll chip off the rock revealing the magic medal to attack under it.

Got mystic spear hand. It's fun but man do I miss the mobility/dodge of Thief lol. I know I get the gap closer right away but the R1 Dodge was just so handy.

Just wait. Spearhand gets a party wide invincibility bubble that honestly costs very little stamina.

Man Chrome's staff has gotten way to cocky if they thought they could get away with some of the stuff they have been trying.

Probably wont even let you boot the game depending on whether or not that GPU is still being supported with official drivers. And even then the game will crash if (and when) you run out of VRAM.

Running the game on a laptop with 5gb VRAM and never had it crash.

My laptop is comparable. Runs on 720p mid settings with minimal problems aside from in town

That's how I see it right now.

"Console gaming is cheaper!" People say, but if you don't want to be stuck with poor performance you drop 300-400 on a launch console, 500 on the enhanced version.

I have a 7 year old PC I built for just under 800 and had just barely begun to show any signs of age really, and still likely has a few years before I really need to do anything to keep up. Been a better investment than either of the base consoles.

Ray tracing has yet to impress me in any regard, so that doesn't matter to me.

I really don't see the pro being worth whatever price tag they put on it.
