TopicDo you criticize what other people eat?

In my head I criticize for repeated unhealthy choices, particularly when the person has expressed the desire to become healthy. I've been there and I understand it so I don't have it in me to actually put anyone down for it, but at the same time I also know very well how irresponsible it is to abuse your body by feeding yourself junk all the time while knowing it's wrong and you'd rather be better.

I would like to offer help instead but I've wasted my time trying before so I don't go out of my way to offer it anymore unless I'm asked.

I'm guessing this is just a joke but still if you enjoy it then good for you lol I mean the steak loses flavor by cooking it so long and then you hide what's left of it by putting ketchup on it. You might as well just have a burger.

I'd probably do a solid 10 years and fuck off with my money. I could live a long and happy time with 1.2mil. And I'm in good health so I figure I'll live a while anyway, but I don't want to be so old that I become decrepit so I'm good knocking 10 years off if it means I can live the next 30 in stress free comfort. I wouldn't stop working for a while though, but even so that means I don't have to care so much each day.

The only serious group I ever joined was Apex Stalkers, a racing group in GTAO. I doubt it's active anymore but it still exists at least. You had to apply on their site and sort of pass a clean racing test and be also good enough to join. I really liked racing back in the first couple of years of GTAO.

I find I'm enjoying myself less and less each time I play. Helldivers 2 isn't quite what I want it to be, but I'm not 100% sure what I want it to be...

I think a big factor is that there is little to no progression to be had for me. I'm at level 10 and I feel like, Idk, except for a couple of strategems I've got everything I want to play with already. There's little customization, so few guns to play with, and the gameplay loop is pretty repetitive. It's fun in ways but very barebones.

It's also pretty difficult yet not enjoyable enough for me to justify the time and effort to git gud at it. I've played plenty of games that were hard but I enjoyed trying to get better; I'm so indifferent to this game. Also I don't have a solid group to play with and it has been a fucking struggle even at challenging difficulty with randoms. Then us randoms all wipe, on a low-mid difficulty, and for what? 20 or 30 minutes out of the couple of hours a night I have to play, just gone. Nothing but frustration. My time is too precious at this point in my life (hell I've been saying that for 6 or 7 years) and I don't want to spend it losing with nothing to show for it. At its very worst, even in CoD I'm at least inching toward a camo unlock or something.

That said, I'm not much for talking while I game so I prefer to play with randoms that I don't need to speak to. I admit that just sounds like a simple "this game isn't for you" but I mean there are coop games where you can do quite a lot only solo. Speaking of CoD, MW3's zombies mode is a good example. I soloed almost all of it. But this is just one of those games where the ceiling is pretty low unless you have a team of good players with good comms. Or unless you're damn good. I've seen a video of a guy soloing the highest difficulty and absolutely hell no. I don't hate the game at all but I think I'm going to play very sparingly for the time being, hopefully new things will come and make it worth my while.

Did they ever go back to being called Prince, or did they stay that symbol (artist formerly known as Prince) until the end?
He only changed his name throughout most of the 90s, then changed back a few years later after he had finally gotten away from Warner Bros. The reason he changed it was to distance himself from WB who he felt he was a slave to as they were hindering him musically/creatively. It also had a "born again" effect which helped him mentally. It was definitely an unorthodox move and certainly quite a statement but it wasn't done just for the sake of being different.

Also he was a very underrated guitarist. Better live in general than on records IMO. He has by far the biggest music catalog I've ever seen. And then there's the unreleased stuff. Literally thousands of songs. Granted a lot of it is mid but I mean the dude was prolific af.

Simon_Gruber posted...
A German man who voluntarily received 217 coronavirus jabs over 29 months showed no signs of having been infected with the virus that causes Covid-19 and had not suffered from any vaccine-related side effects, according to a study published in the medical journal Lancet Infectious Diseases.

The 62-year-old, from Magdeburg, Germany, whom doctors described as hypervaccinated, said he had had the large number of vaccines for private reasons, according to the researchers from University of Erlangen-Nuremberg who examined him.
According to the news magazine Spiegel, the mans vaccine spree had sparked a criminal investigation against him for suspected fraud, after suspicions he had run a scam to sell the vaccine certificates to people who did not want to get the jab.

The initial reports relating to the study, which gave scant information, had sparked widespread speculation, with suggestions that the man was suffering from paranoid hypochondria, that he possibly had a needle fixation, or he was a doctor who might have been administering vaccines to patients himself. There were also questions as to whether he had financed the jabs out of his own pocket, or received medical authorisation to receive them.

Later reports confirmed the criminal investigation against the man, who was accused of getting so many doses in order to be able to collect the stamped and signed vaccination cards, which could then be forged and sold on to people who did not want to be vaccinated and so faced extensive restrictions at the height of the pandemic.

A public prosecutor in Magdeburg had opened an investigation into the fraud allegations but no criminal charges were actually filed, authorities confirmed to the researchers.

The academics contacted the man after reading about him in a newspaper report. He accepted their request to study his bodys response to the multiple jabs.

We then contacted him and invited him to undergo various tests in Erlangen, Dr Kilian Schober said. He was very interested in doing so.

They vaccinated him for the 217th time for the purpose of the study, the researchers said.

The research team said it had seen official confirmation for 134 of the vaccinations, which included eight different vaccines, including various mRNA vaccines. They looked at previous blood tests the man had given over multiple years and also examined blood samples as he went on to receive further vaccines.

Confirmation of 130 of the vaccines, within a nine-month timeframe, came from the public prosecutors investigation against the man, Spiegel reported.

The observation that no noticeable side effects were triggered in spite of this extraordinary hypervaccination indicates that the drugs have a good degree of tolerability, Schober said.

The researchers found that his immune system was fully functional.

Certain immune cells and antibodies against the virus that causes Covid-19 (Sars-CoV-2) were present in considerably higher levels compared with people who had received just three vaccines, the team reported.

Overall, we did not find any indication for a weaker immune response, rather the contrary, said one of the leading study authors, Katharina Kocher.

Further tests showed the reaction of the mans immune system to other viruses remained unchanged proof, the researchers said, that his immune system had not been damaged by having to respond to so many vaccinations.

The researchers said that even though further details about the man or his motives would not be made public, he had effectively served the common good by demonstrating how well tolerated the vaccines generally are. However, they warned the public against following the mans example, saying that excessive vaccinations were not in general advisable and could cause unpleasant and unnecessary side effects. The fact that the man who never contracted the coronavirus tolerated so many jabs so well did not mean that would translate into the rest of the population.

Prof Dr Andreas Radbruch, an immunologist and president of the European Federation of the Immunological Associations of Experts (EFIS), who was not involved in the study, said that hypervaccination would not increase a persons protection beyond the point at which their immunological memory was satiated.

This.

I was going to say John Frusciante is one of the best guitarists of all time but that's not doing Flea and Chad justice. Granted I don't think Chad is one of the greatest drummers of all time, though he's damn good, he moreso is just the greatest drummer for that band. John was a major influence on me though.

Anthony may not be the greatest singer or lyricist but he's unique, charismatic, and seems like a good enough dude. I read his autobiography years ago. Decent stories in there if you like the band.
