Leaks pretty much confirmed this a month ago, she was almost played by Anya Taylor-Joy
Possible spoilers in the same leak if you're interested that could explain:
F4 will take place in another universe similar to the MCU one but not quite. By the end of the movie there will be an incursion (brought up in Strange 2) that results in the universe dying and the F4 moving to the main universe

Definitely not my mortgage, I got my house at 2.8% why would I pay that off early when the stock market will outperform it? Hell, my savings account is over 4% I could just leave it in there if I wanted and I'd come out ahead of paying my mortgage.

Yea getting them fresh is the best for sure. I really dislike the ones you buy from the grocery store since they're frozen and thawed and left out on the shelves for days.
Literally in the article
The doughnut chain uses a hub and spoke model that lets it make and distribute its treats efficiently. Production hubs, which are either stores or doughnut factories, send off freshly made doughnuts every day to retail locations such as grocery stores and gas stations.

Im about to have an aneurysm.
The posters in here who don't care about music are uncommon, but it's not unheard of. Plenty of people exist without consuming books or video games, and there are even people who don't watch TV or movies. Then think about things like theater where very few actively follow.
So I don't get why it's so bad people skip out on music.

Yeah, I feel a lot of guilt for the fact that the pandemic was basically the best thing for me. I was able to buy a house in socal because my industry did well during the pandemic and I made a ton of money, I was able to cut off friends that I had grown apart from, I was able to spend time reading books which I hadn't really done since college, I got in great physical shape, etc. and I had no deaths in people close to me or I cared for.

Mostly because people don't usually bother reporting it. If you slapped someone in front of a police officer you'd probably be arrested right there.
I disagree. Cop's in most cases would separate and assess the situation, but if the slapper clearly isn't going to do it again and the victim doesn't escalate, the cop is not arresting anyone.

If I don't get arrested for slapping someone, the problem is the law enforcement is unjust.
The majority of minor violence between individuals never gets charged. Will Smith's case is what happens the majority of the time, not an example of a two-tiered justice system.
One slap, whether it's at the Oscars, in a bar, or in someone's back yard, is unlikely to make it to court unless the victim really pushes for it.

People shouldn't be hitting each other but y'all don't live in the real world if you think slaps get people arrested.

I have a friend at work that tells me stories all the time of guys that he hooks up that say they aren't bi, they just like to hook up with other men from time to time. But since they have no interest in being an an actual relationship with one, they still consider themselves straight.
Definitely there are people who have some internalized homophobia / biphobia there, but I do think sexuality is complicated enough that someone can be straight and have sex with men even though that can sound ridiculous

Well it isn't in the text.
Harry also doesn't shit in the books but we can assume he does. Like I said, Dumbledore being gay was something many readers had already theorized before she confirmed it.
My point is that Rowling's a piece of shit for many racist and transphobic reasons, we don't need to make up stuff like claiming she only made Dumbledore gay to be seen as progressive to make her look bad.

I like my job, I like my boss. I applied to a vacancy doing similar work in a different area with increased complexity.
Today I got the call that I got it! Comes with a $15k raise and I'm fairly certain brings me to comparable levels as my (new) peers. It's just, I just said ok to her on the phone and now she's sending the offer letter, all I can think is "I should've put in a counter."

The first rule of screenwriting is "show, don't tell" but A LOT of writers disregard that rule and use dialogue as a crutch, whether to explain what's happening in a scene, declare a character's motive or mood, or to worldbuild. And because media literacy is so terrible nowadays, people seem content for things to be this way.
At the same time there's plenty of moments where you should tell and that the repeating of "show don't tell" is just as bad as ignoring it

Just as a court has to prove the accused guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, so to would they have to prove that the false accuser lied (maliciously) to throw her in jail, so actual victims won't have a paper trail to hang themselves with anyway.
My dude, that's just not how it works.
Sexual assault and related crimes are already difficult to prove due to lack of evidence, victim's trauma, arguments around consent, etc. This is made even harder when considering many rapists are better connected and richer than their victims, they can afford better lawyers and can drag cases out.
So in the case of a legitimate crime, a rapist can get be declared not guilty because of the aforementioned reasons. The people in here who want to punish false accusers will now be enabling the criminal to then go after the victim and force them to have to defend themselves and relive their own rape in court again due to some misguided belief about justice.

Falsifying evidence and lying under oath are already crimes. Asking for more punishment just means victims, who already often need persuading to come forward, will be even less likely to cooperate if they believe they could be charged.
