Yea see, I think that's an overstepping. Just because he hasn't gone to a sexual stage with a woman doesn't mean that he doesn't find them attractive on some level. I've even heard from gay men that they've slept with women before with full intention, but still at this stage have chosen to label themselves as gay. A lot of people have done this.

You say that like there's been a ton of games in between lol. Sword/Shield is Gen 8 and Scarlet/Violet is Gen 9.

But it depends on what you hated about Sword/Shield. I enjoyed Violet more than Sword, but there's still a lot I wish they'd improve upon.

Ideally yes. The whole "super straight" thing was started by transphobes who refused to admit that they could be attracted to transgender women. So they made a big stink about it online, announcing that they were only attracted to cisgender women.

Yeah, I read an article that talks about this. It was really illuminating and made a lot of sense when I thought about it. They're afraid of being perceived as gay by their social circles. And in their mind, all it takes is one "wrong move" to be permanently labeled as gay. A sort of zero tolerance policy for their sexuality.

Hopefully that mentality dies out over time.

Ugh, I hate that realization lol. I already can't really tell the difference between middle schoolers and high schoolers. They all just look like kids to me. I'm sure college students will start to blend in to that too, soon enough.

Absolutely horrendous take. Yes, a lot of people are self diagnosing, but it doesn't mean that they're just trying to find something to blame their failures on.

Researchers estimate that over 8 million adults in the US have ADHD and that nearly 75% of adults with ADHD, don't even know that they have it. Social media has been amazing at spreading awareness for mental health issues. So a lot of these people self diagnosing are actually people that are just now being made aware of their mental health issues.

My girlfriend didn't get officially diagnosed with ADHD until she was 26. Because her childhood doctors didn't understand her symptoms. They only viewed ADHD as being hyper and unable to sit still, so they never caught it. But as an adult in a larger city, her new doctor was able to recognize the signs and diagnosed her. Many adults never actually get that doctor that recognizes the signs, so they continue on, not realizing.

Yeah, I've known women like that. It doesn't mean there's anything wrong with the women. A woman I knew was 22 and dating a 44 year old. Same reasoning, she got tired of immature guys, so she started pursuing older guys. It was a bummer for me because I was 20 at the time and thought she was cute.

Im not shocked. CE has shown over and over they are perfectly fine with large age gaps as long as it meets legal requirements. So many see nothing wrong with it and even go as far to suggest youre somehow infantilizing her as a women. I think its weird every time but again, this subject comes up somewhat regularly and most of CE is fine with it.

My stance is that, As a 35 year old, I would never want to date anyone younger than 27 or 28. But I won't apply my personal age preferences to others. So if someone meets an 18 year old and hits it off, more power to them.

That said, I think TC could benefit from meeting her at least. Not to actually pursue a relationship, but to maybe get some of his nervousness out by talking to a woman that's actually interested in him. Because he gets in his own head a lot when it comes to women.

You being creeped out by that is understandable really. Especially if she's still married to your step nephew and wants to flirt with you without him finding out. Bad relationship or not, that could get very messy.

But if they get divorced, I say it wouldn't hurt to meet her and see how you feel about it.

Yeah, the medicine thing was a weird choice. Especially given that demons are basically vampires. Immortal, healing factor, super strength and speed, they have to feed on humans and they're hurt by sunlight.

But I really don't think it was meant to be that deep originally. Like, the serious discussion only started because guys were getting pissed off about it. And women explained their reasoning for it, only for those angry guys to ignore their reasoning. So I don't see the point in asking for the scenario to be more clearly defined when, posing a more specific scenario wasn't the original intent. It just feels like you're trying to justify your reasoning, by changing the scenario

It's just a random hypothetical that someone came up with (just like the thousands of hypotheticals we've seen on CE). It doesn't need to be more clearly defined. The only reason it's gotten as much attention as it has is because some guys got offended by it.

Women choosing the bear is literally saying that we are not the same as bears. Not that man are trash or anything. I'm not victim blaming. Once you start taking general statements and saying that it's underserved hate, or that the person hearing it is a victim, then yes, you are taking it personal. Especially if this whole topic is because of the man vs bear scenario

Lots of great albums on that list. I'm not sure what order I'd put them all in personally, as that's a pretty daunting task. One choice I disagree with though is Voodoo by D'Angelo. It's a great album, but I feel like Brown Sugar is a better album for his spot on the list.

Nah, there's definitely homeless people in Japan. Just less of them. According to their ministry of health, they only had 3,824 homeless people in 2021. A lot of that has to do with their laws that provides support to homeless people. And that generally, the main people that end up homeless are single men over 35, and old men that have trouble getting jobs (corporations prefer hiring young, family oriented men).

If I buy the store brands (cheaper), I can spend $15 on ingredients and make lunch for myself for a full 5 days. So about $3 per day that way. It adds up compared to eating out constantly.
