At the least if they're going to require it then the state should pay for it or force manufacturer's who sell vehicles within that state to have it on them. Forcing consumers to pay out of pocket for something the state requires and the manufacturer doesn't provide by default shouldn't be a thing.

Yeah, it's stupid and there are several laws like that. For example, in California it's illegal to have your front windshield tinted, but it's not illegal for shops to sell it to you.

I'm hoping we'll get some actual gameplay footage soon, since summer games great is coming up. But yeah it's wild to release a trailer for a game coming out in 6 months and not show any actual gameplay

Yeah, the series has never been about historical accuracy. The opening disclaimer even says that's it's a work of fiction that was "inspired" by real events. So they take some actual history and craft a fictional story that loosely connects to those people and places.

So suddenly crying about historical accuracy for this game is very telling.

Oh it looks like you're right. Only need Internet for part of the game install. Hell yeah then. Now to see how the gameplay is. Yasuke doesn't do stealth, so I'm assuming he'll play more action focused like Origins/Odyssey/Valhalla

Might be hard to mod this game it's got always online drm and Ubisoft drm has notoriously been some of the worst in the business. One time it was so bad they had to sell a pirated copy of their own game.

I really hope they change their decision about the always online. I'm actually interested in the game, but damn I hate that so many single player games are forcing that.

There's nothing wrong with leaving it in a bowl of water. It's just slower than using running water. It's also generally not recommended to leave thawing chicken sitting out. You don't want it to reach room temperature for long. So for food safety, you'd put the bowl of water in the fridge. It will still take a few hours to thaw like that though.

I voted no that you shouldn't be able to get a ticket while sitting in the drive thru.

But, something about the kid's story bothers me: He claims he didn't pull out his phone until he got into the drive thru. But the cop was already behind him ready to give him a ticket as soon as he did? The cop seeing him on the phone before pulling into the drive thru makes sense in that case.

He might have pulled out his phone early to try and get the code ready before he got to the speaker. In which case, yeah that screwed him.

Thats under the presumption that you can drive the car. If its mechanically broken Ava awaiting a tire truck, youre not driving that vehicle. Then again, I guess you could still put it in neutral and coast down the road. Annnnd there are different levels of break down. Your car could be in limp mode but still drivable.

Even if it's broken down now. The fact is the car is on and was driven to it's current location. The cop would have no way of knowing if you were already drinking before it broke down. It's just better not to risk that.

has generic open world busy work but if you focus on the story missions and character side stories it is amazing. Playing on Lethal is a must as it makes the combat very enjoyable. Difficult as hell sometimes, but enjoyable.

I'm an Easy mode enjoyer myself. I mow down enemies like an unstoppable killing machine.

Well some people like this. The game is a solid 8.5 with some very high highs and low lows. But your enjoyment will great depend on how much youre invested in the story. Gameplay is pretty light on rpg stuff and makes the game worse.

Also it has received some quality of life improvements with recent updates and some of the bad stuff is more tolerable now. Like going back to the sidequest giver after finishing a quest. Thatll save you some time and headaches during certain portions of the game.

And that's fair. I did preface my post with "that would depend on you, really" lol. So for me, the overly long boss fights was a negative. That's fine if others liked that though.

The combat is also fun. It's like a more open and nonlinear DMC5.

I feel like this really sets the wrong expectation for the combat. It's definitely the best action combat in the franchise so far, but it's nowhere near DMC levels.

Without mods, how can we disable the 60 fps limit? What I found on google isn't working ( setting iPresentInterval value to 0).

That's supposed to uncap it but it's still only 60 for me.

IIRC, you need to make sure the ini file is not read only when you save it, or the changes won't take effect.

But be warned, when you get that working, without any mods, having fps above 60 will make the game speed up. Lockpicking becomes really hard when everything is moving at super speed lol

Holy shit they're almost Morrowind level long when going from a building to the open world. The game's old but not that old.

In that case you should try the "long loading times fix." That Creator also has a mod that fixes the game speed being tied to the fps (by default having really high fps makes the game go super speed)
