Eh... Yeah his music is alright. The last album I listened to was 'Press Play' in 2006 and I only liked 3 or 4 songs on that one.

Hard to say right now. I think if evidence continues coming to light like this then, yeah he's done for. Who knows how many things he's tried to keep quiet with hush money.

The Wii U gamepad absolutely is not the culprit as while it would require retooling, that would not be a relevant distinction for cost over something like a port from the GameCube and the wild backed on its controller.

I swear I've seen other interview quotes that also mention those things, but I can't find it.

Either way, I hope they reconsider not doing a port. Or at the very least, give us a sequel to wrap up that story.

This. The Switch version has some very nice QoL improvements (especially for finding important collectible items) and the Future Connected Epilogue is nice.

Sadly they've flat out stated that the game is way too large and they are very unlikely to ever port it.

I saw that they said it would be too expensive and time consuming because they built the game around the Wii U Gamepad. And that they'd have to make changes to the story to make it make sense with the other XC games.

I hope they reconsider their stance on that at some point. The sense of scale in that game was amazing. Getting a Skell for the first time opened things up so much

I loved the games at first, but my interest fell off a cliff after the events of AC3 (due to certain spoilers in that game's story). So I played the first 5 games, then skipped the next 5 games and came back to try Odyssey a few years after that released.

I absolutely hated Odyssey's leveling system, given that the last game I played before it was AC3. But the open world was interesting at least, albeit very bloated. I grabbed Valhalla because Vikings sounded cool, but it felt pretty bloated as well.

Maybe someone can correct me if I'm outdated on some of these things, but many of the restrictions seem to make trying to live your life after prison very very restrictive. Housing requirements for example. It's a level of post prison punishment that hinders a successful attempt at reintegration into the community.

How restrictive it is depends on their sentencing. In many states, the registry is broken up into tiers, with only the highest tier requiring they be on the registry for life. So they absolutely can reintegrate into the community if they serve their time and then stay out of trouble.

If said sex offender didn't want people to know they're a sex offender, they should have, you know, not been a sex offender. Again, this isn't smoking weed, or even petty theft. Being a sex offender means you committed one of a very specific set of crimes, virtually none of them victimless.

I think you and Emblem_Man were arguing about 2 different things here. He was talking about the actual restrictions placed on some sex offenders. Not just the fact that others can look them up and know that they live nearby.

Nope. I don't know if ArcheAge was the first, but they did that back in 2014. So 10 years at least now.

Yeah, a lot of AAA games have been adopting that paid early access practice. It's dumb. The first time I ever encountered that was for the MMO ArcheAge. At least there it made sense because for an mmo like that, getting a 4 day headstart was a huge bonus for the competitive players. You could buy houses and things in-game, and it was first come first serve. The headstart players got to claim the good locations first.

What's also been dumb to me is when AAA games offer a "beta test" like a month before release, but you have to pre-order the game to gain access. That's just paying for a glorified demo if the beta is that close to the release date.

They need to stop taking ideas from MMO's and using them in stupid (greedy) ways.

My only issue with the PS2 was when I had a ton of trouble getting Star Ocean 3 working. Bought the game brand new and it would freeze at the same spot every time. So I took it to gamestop to show them and they gave me a used PS2 to see if it would work better than my PS2. Froze at the same place every time. After trying a few different PS2's and multiple copies of the game with the same results, they upgraded me to a PS2 Slim at no extra charge. No problems after that.

The 360 though, was a nightmare. Got the RRoD more than once and it would take weeks for Microsoft to send the console back after repairs.

Sure, but a lot of the posts in here are very doom and gloom. Even if you can't get a six figure job, making 0 effort towards having any sort of retirement just means you'll be very miserable in old age. Even without a 6 figure job, you could get a roommate (or roommates) so that you have cheaper rent and can start putting a little money towards retirement. Or if you plan on finding a partner, having a partner that also works can be another way that someone saves money. You don't have to be maxing out a 401k every month. Even starting a little bit at a time is more of a plan than "I'll save when I'm dead"

It's going okay. I work for the government, so I'll get a pension when I retire. I need to promote more though, so that I can make enough to actually afford to pay into a 401k. Then I might be able to retire early (the earlier I retire, the smaller my pension will be, so the 401k would have to supplement it).

No lol. If all you have is SSI, you're gonna be struggling hard. One of my mom's old classmates from high school retired with only SSI. That lady only gets like $300 a month from that. She has to rely on her daughter for most things.

Flying would be fun, but it uses up as much of your stamina as full sprinting. You wouldn't be able to fly for long with that.

Yeah, that will likely be how he starts. I mostly just found his confusion of the subs funny. But not many of the recently aired anime has really been kid friendly (I watch a lot of anime as they air), so I didn't want him to be interested in those anyway. The calmest show was Overtake and even that one was more for 13+

Honestly I dont know anything about Pokeman. I was already an adult in the military by the time the first games came out and I never paid attention to handheld gaming. It was already a massive franchise that had covered games, anime, cards, and had become a full blown global empire by the time I had ever heard of it.

i never tried to catch up or learn. I was primarily a PlayStation gamer and most of the games werent available to me. When I got my Switch it just felt too late to try to dive into a 20+ year old franchise I knew nothing about so I just ignored it.

It's a series that's like Final Fantasy in that the mainline games are standalone. So you can just jump in without playing any of the other games. And since you have a Switch, there's no time like the present. The games are pretty basic, but they're fun for what they are.

That's just her speaking positively about being willing to work with him again, while being vague enough to avoid confirming or denying that he's in the new movie

You forgot a 0 there. You'd go from 350 words per minute to 17,500 words per minute. You'd be able to read the entire trilogy in about 32 minutes

Clearly you've never seen police chases in the US Southeast.

Regardless though, my point still stands. North American police vehicles are dog slow compared to even a low end crotch rocket. Meanwhile the standard issue police vehicle in Italy is an Alfa Romeo, and they use literal Lambos for high speed chases on the Autostrada.

NA police in both Canada and the US need to step it up. The SUV's don't cut in anymore. My base model Mercedes crossover can outrun a police Explorer. So imagine trying to catch a sport bike in one of those tanks. No chance.

Several departments in the US have Dodge Chargers in their fleet. But the issue remains that high speed chases are dangerous. They'll still end a pursuit if the suspect starts driving too recklessly. We've had some pretty bad accidents happen because of high speed pursuits.

Laws like this are stupid, Tesla is not the only manufacturer who doesn't put a spot for a license plate on the front and as long as you have at least one on your vehicle that should suffice.

At the least if they're going to require it then the state should pay for it or force manufacturer's who sell vehicles within that state to have it on them. Forcing consumers to pay out of pocket for something the state requires and the manufacturer doesn't provide by default shouldn't be a thing.

Yeah, it's stupid and there are several laws like that. For example, in California it's illegal to have your front windshield tinted, but it's not illegal for shops to sell it to you.

I'm hoping we'll get some actual gameplay footage soon, since summer games great is coming up. But yeah it's wild to release a trailer for a game coming out in 6 months and not show any actual gameplay
